Wow, really nice work on getting such complicated puzzle platformer mechanics working smoothly within the time constraints. Great job. Love the graphics too!

Very interesting and fun. Nice multidimensional puzzles. Well done!

Really cool game! I like this kind of puzzle mechanic!

I like! More tutorial would have been nice, I was in doubt a couple of times about how I was meant to use things.

The little chef looks adorable and the puzzles are fun to solve, would love to see more of this game in the future.

Interesting mechanicals, this microwave mechanic make us so hungry ahaha :P Nice work! :)

Hi, congrats on your game! :) The level design is fantastic, and I really enjoyed the puzzle-solving aspect of the game. One suggestion I have is to perhaps include some more introductory tutorials for the mechanics. I found myself stuck on level 3 for quite a while until I figured out how to complete it.

If you have some spare time, please try out my game. It's a classic space shooter from the 80s but with a personal touch. Please leave your honest feedback.

Some of the best puzzle design I've seen in the jam. But the mechanic is not very well introduced, I got stuck at level 3 for some time. I also confirm that the one-tile high blocks can get tricky to fit through, and you have to time your jump right. Overall, I really love the small details, the microwave sound, and the little player animation with the kitchen vents. Great job!

Thank you so much! Yeah, unfortunately the level design was a little rushed and was mostly finished in the last day or two - I was fairly happy with the puzzles themselves, but I think you're definitely right that they don't do a great job of teaching the player how the mechanics work. And that's true about the small gaps too. I think soon I'll try and make an updated version with more polish and more thought put into tutorialising the mechanics properly!

Level seven took me a lot of tries to get through, I spent a lot of time overthinking it. Very cleverly done! It's not immediately obvious that the player can fit through one tile high areas from looking at the size of their sprite, in part because of the chef's hat but also their scale in general. Not at all a huge issue, just something I noted.

That's actually a really good point! The hitbox is waay smaller than the sprite, but since I already knew the size of the hitbox myself I didn't think to teach the player that you can actually fit through one tile high tunnels... I reckon I should either have forced the player through a one tile high bit in one of the early levels to show it's possible, or maybe adjust the size of the sprite. Super helpful feedback, thank you!

Very good mechanics and well done all around. I'm going to come back to this one later.

I must admit I stopped at the 3 portal level cause I couldn't rly figure out when the portal "builds" something and when its just background?

But the concept is great and teh music works well with the game

Thanks for your feedback! I actually agree that I didn't make that as clear as it should be - you can press S to see the layout of the tiles in the 2nd dimension, but I think it's quite a difficult thing to convey in a way that's easy to understand.

I was actually thinking of making another prototype based on this where the portals would just flip everything inside them (e.g. empty space turns into ground and vice versa) - I think that would be easier to understand tbh.

This was a very good game, great job! Mechanics were smooth, concept was clear, music was good. 5/5

Cool game and  a great concept and perfectly implemented, it was really fun figuring out which parts of the level you needed to build and which parts you needed to remove 5/5

Really cool game! I didn't complete it because some puzzles were very challenging for me. But I will play it again for sure. Please try our game Pawfinder!

I really liked this. The animation and overall control/moving about felt good. A good execution of a simple idea to start with but really gets you scratching your head by the end game. Cool music as well :)
