The "art" consists of free png's from flaticon.com, and the music is various tracks from opengameart.com and pixabay.com. I did not create them

This is a great submission!

Wow, a bot autobattler with component parts. I love it, impressive for a jam submission! You did a good job working with the simplest of art assets to create a cohesive experience. I would maybe avoid the trap of "let's play a different music track for each different screen the game has" when those phases are very quick, particularly the "stage selection" screen, but I like the music you went with.

This is very creative, nicely done!! :)

Really enjoyed this one! The menu system is very tight and nice that when you click it's immediate. Would be really cool if you could add something like a preferential targeting system so my bots attack the strongest, or weakest first, just to add even more complexity to the system. I love it!

Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it! I actually just added a downloadable version with some control over the bots less than 5 minutes ago

Pretty cool auto attacking and the strategy behind selecting the right loadout. Considering the loadout limit of the arena and your team composition before choosing it. I think you did a nice job on your game!

Interesting game, i got lost with the UI at the beginning but after few tries i got it to work :D

Developer

Thank you! and yeah its a bit of UI overload right at the start, would have liked to make a tutorial but only so much time in the jam! I'm glad you got to play it

Good job! Love the music and good job on the menu, for me it's always a headache.

Thanks! My time spent on this game was probably 35% robot mechanics/parts and 65% UI & menu logic so i feel ya there

This game was SO much fun, as I love Battlebots. However, at the Adept Airheads (with bodies in the shape of a flame), it became impossible to win because I didn't have that body type yet. The breathing room with the weight class was so small that I could only use the most basic third Battlebot, which couldn't even impact the battle. I think you need to fix that issue, especially since I see one of the reviewers had this problem too.

Developer(+1)

Hi!
The Adept Airheads level was accidently left unlocked so its possible the previous level was skipped and the part it unlocked wasn't available before attempting it. That has been fixed now but sorry it gave you trouble! Additionally there is a downloadable version that now includes commands for bots, if you feel like giving it another go. Regardless, thank you for playing!

Good to know!

I like the autobattle idea and the shop! The art is essential but nice :)

Fun game, I love it! The cheat in the settings was fun xD I definitely didn't use it ;)

I don't usually play games with this type of mechanics, however I got addicted to this one rather quickly. The ui and everything else is also very well made and put together! It's impressive you were able to make this in the time of the jam

Cool game! Really adictive. Love the fact that you are not controliing the bot and doing the upgrades. Its easy going but with a lot of content. Great job!

Fun and great idea, but I clicked the cheat button because I wanted to confirm the settings o.O. Awesome game reminds me on this Robots Wrestling TV shows!! 😍

I lost track of time with this one. It's really addicting. I got stuck on Adept Airheads (the 74 weight one i think?). I might come back to it later at some point. Well done!

A rare thing to see good and animated UI in a game! You did good! very impressive

Wow. The amount of content and the whole game is just cohesive and well executed. Its like a super lightweight mechabellum. I would love to play this in MP with friends. 5* in all categories except story. But amazing game overall.

Thank you for the kind words! The project is far from finished at this stage so you may see something like that in the future :)

Congrats on your submission!  I made it to Adept Airheads.  I couldn't get past that level.  I took a minute to figure out that I wasn't in control of the bots(I hadn't read the page before starting to play), but once I figured that out, I was solid.  The music was great.  My only issue with the game was that sometimes the bots would seem to get confused and 2 wouldn't move until the 3rd one died and then the other 2 would move again.  Also, some obvious strategies, they wouldn't take advantage of, eg if it was a 2v1, they wouldn't gang up on the one bot left.  Sometimes when there was a 3v2, one would go out and tank, but it would be the only one shooting.  If you add to the game, I think have different levels of AI brains would probably be cool because it seems very random/chaotic right now.

Thanks for checking it out! If i had more time to work on it the next step was going to be issuing commands to the bots, and more complex decisions for the enemy AI, and a tutorial.

P.S. in the settings menu is an option to unlock everything
