Really unique idea and fun game, there is one thing that's a bit broken not as in that it does not work properly but that's completely overpowered and it has to do with how the level is presented/starts (@dev check below the "Attention" line, meant to prevent spoilers).
Also, I'd like to suggest maybe some sort of cooldown for the ghosts, i know there kind of is, but i think it's too short specially for the ground ghost.

Attention: do not read below if you haven't played the game yet.
Since there is only one entrance to the cemetery and the characters are there when the player gains control, you can just put a ghost in the next ground tile and you could potentially scare both of them out of the cemetery with a single attempt. It took me two attempts but only because the girl stopped at the very edge of the map. To solve this, i propose a "observation time" at the start where the player can't still use ghosts, and the NPCs use that time to spread around or go to designed positions.
This is so unique and original and fun, I absolutely love it. I had a bug pretty quickly where a guy got stuck in my cemetery, he just kept running towards the back of the cemetery forever, scaring him didn't work because he was just running the wrong way and wouldnt turn around lol. But other than that little bug I really liked this game.
Dropping you a follow because I want to play this game more if you keep working on it after this, and I'm also interested to see what else you come up with in the future.

This was a really neat idea. I looked at the screenshot and thought "Oh, ok, it's a tower defense." Then I read the instructions and thought "Oh, ok, it's more like one of those lane-based army generator games." Then I started playing and thought "Oh! Ok, it's actually a herding game." And in the end, even that mould doesn't quite fit because after a while, the humans are so terrified that they herd themselves out! XD
I'm sure this wasn't your intention, but it literally kept me guessing until the very end, in a good way. Neat!

Originally, it was supposed to be a tower defense game, but I had to significantly reduce the scope to meet the deadline.

Ultimately, I really liked this game. Too short lol but the first time I had a glitch where the npc character kept running and got stuck and couldn't be scared out. Second time I did it though it ran perfect and since I knew how to exactly do it, I scared them both out in seconds LOL great game

cool idea, but my npc were stuck in running state in a fixed position and I couldn't do anything. I spam 1 , 2 and space then I lost

This is a fun concept, took a moment to understand the control and action system, but easy enough once you figure it out. I liked how the NPC's cowered as they ran away and the audio was like a cartoon haunted house.

I like the concept that was in reverse. This is a good prototype to something even better. The UI was broken as I couldn't see the credits at the start or pause the game; but nevertheless it was good presentation and hillarious hearing both the man and woman shrieking in the same voice.

I however fixed issues with Ghost selection and better indicators of how the Ghosts can be used.

I was a tiny bit confused about the controls, I was trying to click to place the various scary things rather than hit spacebar, but I went and looked at the tutorial page again and it made sense. Very cool idea! I liked the scared running animation of the people too, funny
