Very interesting game. There's story, great mechanics with adding recipes together (do I spot some code monkey kitchen management scripts there? :D), rep, upgrades and even a save system. Alot of stuff for 10 days, that must have been very hard work. Very impressed.

I checked closer and realize I may have commented before and played it before, but did not rate this game at all.

Playing through the game again, I really liked the tutorial in the beginning as I think without it the stuff may not be too intuitive or obvious without it, so I think this helped a lot. Besides this, I liked the details like when you click the customer again to see what they ordered,  it deducts reputation each time just to see what they wanted again. I found this detail really interesting, along with many other details you put in the game. Overall I think you did a really great job on this game and may try to rate it this time!

Nice game! I liked the cartoony, stick-figures aesthetic to it. I also like the story context as well, it definitely makes the play experience feel different and substantial, as was trying my best to make sure the hog dog stand did well. There was a few bugs encountered but nothing game-breaking, its mainly visual glitches which didn’t deter from the gameplay.

Nice work!

Very neat game with a good story. My hot dog would not spawn haha. But this is a very intricate game and it has a great deal of mechanics.

Great game, and a very well executed idea! I really liked the cutscene at the beginning and I appreciated the tutorial. Once in the game, the mechanics were solid and the upgrade path was clear. The sound and music complemented the experience too. Nice work!

I really enjoyed playing this game! The story is very cute, and the gameplay is very solid. It only needs some improved UI and art, but at least for a jam game it's pretty impressive!

This is an awesome game! I really like the story presented at the start about how the player came to manage the last hotdog stand. The sounds are also great; they took me back to all those times I walked around the city and passed by the street food vendors.

I skimmed through all the previous comments and pretty much all my concerns have already been raised (mainly the non-pausing timer and customers during the tutorial as well as the kind of sluggish early game). Despite those, this game was a gem that I enjoyed playing.

Well-made simulator) Would be great to prep a couple of hot dogs at the same time. Good job <3

Cool game! Except that I have not enough memory to recall an order more than 2 seconds and I lost too much reputation clicking on the customers. On thing I thought is too "punitive" is that the time is not frozen while you're reading the tutorial. You should make a first day much easier to jump in. Let me see the order too, my local hotdog maker took notes haha :) I really enjoyed the story, and I agree that small businesses are killed ky shitty fast food restaurants, plus the fact that people don't take time to go outside on a walk... True story

I really liked the mechanics ! I could become a fun hot dog simulator game if you rework the graphics tbh !

When I just started, I was so stressed I forgot what mustard is. Later on, it became a really chill game. For some reason, the ambiance is mesmerizing, but that's beside the point. As others have pointed out, the game is unbelievably complete. Good job!

This is impressively complete for a game jam entry, the save/load system, unlocks and how smoothly everything works. I had some minor inconsistency issues with selecting ingredients/dragging the tray, but this was very inconsistent so I am not sure if it was an issue on my end. Well done!

Wow. This is basically a full complete game created during the game jam. I had a lot of fun.

The story was quite sad, I really enjoyed reading through it . Game play was fun with so many potential options for hotdogs, the ketchup sound had me crying :)

Loved the story, was really motivated to do well.
Enjoyed the mechanics.
It's good to see that so many have played it, well deserved.

I lost a few customers on the first day, but got into it soon enough, espaecially when I realized I could click on the customer to see their order agin. I had to stop playing at day 10 on my first go though as I got too hungry playing!
