Good job, this was fun and challenging. The hitboxes on the logs feel a little inconsistent/unforgiving though. It also seems like logs don't always give points when jumped over. Maybe that's intended? I see "+0/1" on the main menu so maybe that is what you're saying there.
I think it'd probably make more sense to tie the player's score to how quick they plant and get out rather than the number of logs you jump over (Although it doesn't really matter for a jam game though lol), since a player could just farm points forever before planting the bomb with no repercussions.
Thanks for playing! The thing with the score was actually just a glitch that I decided to make a feature, and the way you suggested doing the score is a lot better than what I have. I may update it at some point to make the score work that way. (If I can be bothered to do it, because I'm quite lazy lol)
It's literally just Donkey Kong.
Classic Mode is a joke and Tower Mode is just unfair. I say that because the logs is deadly when they just appear.
The first platform has celling collision, but the others don't ?
Yeah, sorry about that, I could never find a middle ground between the two difficulties. Also yes, it is literally just DK that's why I put 'inspired' in quotations. As for the last thing, this is to prevent people just jumping straight through the fist platform.

Cool, I gave it a play! I'm not very good at precise platforming, but I managed to beat a level after a few tries, haha. Actually, I forgot to run back the first time I planted a bomb, second time I did. I tried tower mode, and it's definitely harder! Game looks good though, pretty solid!

I've had a couple good laughs playing your game! The first time hearing the death sound effect and the second time when I heard the bomb explode! Great game, very original (jk). It is a classic with a twist though, so good job!
