oh this is adorable, love the framing device
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed
Love the animations and the gameplay, sweet game ^^
This was nice and cute! Relaxing to play too, great job
Would love to play this and rate/comment on it as part of the Jam. Puzzle type games are my favorite. Could you create a web based export of the game in another project that's linked here?
I would love to do web builds, but that's currently not supported with monogame sadly!
Oh well, I'll try to keep an eye on this game if it makes it to mobile or steam as it looks like a fun game.
Very cute little game! I liked it, kinda like Pipe Maze without the ability to fail no matter how bad the pieces I get are, and with a lot of different pieces to choose from. That said, the upcoming pieces were tucked away so far into a corner I didn't see them until the third stage or so, and often forgot they were there at all. Having to press a key every time I wanted to move a tile also made it troublesome when I wanted to move far across the screen or put in my name for the highscore.
But the biggest problem was the stage clear animation. There's no way to speed up the bunny's walking, and it doesn't move particularly fast, so in a way you get punished instead of rewarded for making a long path! I ended up prioritizing short paths just so I wouldn't have to wait as long; I think having some way to speed up the bunny (pressing start, maybe?) would alleviate this problem.
Finally, the border was adorable, so I would have liked to have it at smaller resolutions too! Overall a great job, and would enjoy playing a longer version!
Thanks for playing! Yeah the ending animations can be quite long. We probably should have added something to make it go faster, like holding a button or a setting.
I'm very confused right now. I ran both the ZIP and the EXE through VirusTotal and got 0 hits. Not even a heuristic or machine learning result. Not sure what that's about.
That was really fun! There's a good risk-reward balance between trying to get a path without too many pave-overs, but still trying to make it as long and winding as possible. Just an all-around solid brain teaser high-score game. Great work!
Happy to hear you enjoyed the game! You got a nice score too ^^
the windows version looks infected with a trojan horse, unfortunately.
Mac works by the way
I'm not sure what causes this, but it should be a false positive.
Isn't a review of the game, but after downloading Windows marked the .exe as a trojan and removed it from the OS entirely. Not sure what caused that, but...? Might be worth taking a look

Points for creativity on theme, and placing it in a setting other than outer space. I also like the warm and comforting color choices.
I did feel it was backwards to have the pieces spawn in from right to left, rather than left to right. Multiple times I thought I was getting the rightmost piece next when it was the opposite.
The screen has a lot of blank area around the edges which could be put to some use. As is it feels a little like there is a lot of real estate not being used for anything.
Thank you for playing! Every level the playing field becomes bigger and by level 7 the whole screen is filled.
