Neat concept, especially with the very unusual character swapping idea to decide which faction wins. Making it a gameboy with interactive buttons was a very nostalgic touch too although not having it playable on a typical PC probably hurt you for getting quite as many ratings which is a shame. Solid entry though!

I was a bit confused at first, but now I like the concept.

The only thing I don’t like is the art style mismatch.

Good job!

Thank you!

really nice interpretation of the rules and original gameplay. The touch controls are a nice “touch” brilliant example of multipurpose mechanics and a simple but enjoyable platformer well done.

Thank you! I also update the description below the game so its less confusing on what to do.

Glad you liked it !

Nice to see a game with touchscreen support, and i love what you did with the frame, making it look like I'm playing it on an actual Gameboy!

The game itself is just a wee bit confusing; i can't seem to hurt anyone? I get that when I get hit I am transformed into one of my enemies, and that's a kinda cool mechanic!

Also, the art style seems to be pulling in different directions at the same time, like, the background and foreground objects feel mismatched, or mishmashed.

I feel that maybe the experience of Extinction could have been helped by an info screen of some description.

Yeah, i should give a little tutorial.

When your a robot, you attack the aliens and try to find the alien boss.

If you get hit,  you turn into an alien and now can fight all the robots and find their boss.

Whichever race you find the opposite boss and defeat.  Thats the race that wins.

I had to rush the art work... due to time limit on gamejam. :(
