very polished and well made. Why so few ratings people? :-/

I'm terrible at marketing 😅
By the way, thank you very much for your words!

That was fun! The animations are very polished, and the mechanics are well thought-out. The HUD inside the mech was an excellent detail. All-in-all, just a great game.

The resolution seems a bit large.

Great work!

Thank you for playing my game and for your feedback!
Regarding the resolution, I used 160x144 scaled by a factor of 4 to make it fit on screens, but was made on 160x144.

Excellent job. Fun game with a unique concept. Very challenging. The way the character just closes their eyes and lies down when  they die is kinda sad, lol.

Thank you very much. Hahaha, I'm glad to have caused that feeling

Really liked this one. The core game loop was engaging and fast-paced, and it felt challenging more than frustrating at every turn. Aside from wishing there were a few more gameplay complications, I thought this game was really really great. My favorite part was definitely the way the UI reinterpreted itself inside the mech cockpit. Real great stuff.

'Challenging more than frustrating,' I always struggle with that, but I'm glad I achieved that with you <3! I wanted to mention that I planned to have a giant space worm arrive every 3 waves, but the lack of time worked against me, hahaha. Thank you for playing my game, and I'm glad it entertained you!

Excellent little survival game you've got here! The only issue I had was with learning how to play the game - my Xbox controller didn't seem to work for it, so I was just pressing buttons on my keyboard for the first few attempts until I figured out the interaction buttons. That being said, it has a very nice gameloop of managing your O2/energy, hopping into the mechsuit to defend the base, and breaking rocks as fuel to escape.

My favorite part was, of course, the mech. The little map indicator made it very clear where I was aiming and what asteroids I had to prioritize shooting first to protect the dome. The graphics in general (but particularly in the mech) are great, and the music is very nice! The tilting of the pixel graphics on the asteroids makes it a bit less gameboy-ish in my opinion (diagonal pixels), but I do love the motion of the asteroids in their animation and the tilted asteroids do fit the graphical style of the game very well.

Overall, though, great work!

You really put effort into the review; thank you so much! <3. I'm flattered that you noticed so many of the details and that you enjoyed them. And I'm sorry, I always run out of time for tutorials, hahaha. I only manage to post the controls in the text or on the page.

You're welcome, and no problem! My friend and I also noticed a number of user experience issues in our own game so you're far from the only one having those issues, lol

The gifs of the turret looks so cool! Couldn't figure out how to get there in the game, not sure what I was suppose to do. Loved the music and the vibe.

Thank you for your feedback! To win the game, you must fill the spaceship on your right with resources. Once it's full, you can escape and return home! I'm sorry if it wasn't very clear; I didn't have time to include a tutorial, haha
