How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
For the primary theme of Game Boy, I made the whole thing in GB Studio. For the secondary theme of spooky, my game takes place on Halloween and has costumes, ghouls, and trick-or-treating.

The hitboxes in the school section make me want to scream. There is so much transparency space on you and the projectiles that still count as a collision.

Other than that, the biggest horror is the dysfunctional family dynamics the protagonists lives with (and to some degree perpetuates) /hj

Solid game. It'd be really cool with sounds and music! Good work

This was a fun experience for me, You could develop this more and make add more to the story that is already built here. Good Job :D

The game looked enjoyable, just that story driven games are not my cup I guess. The art looks nice though, well done!

Great start here! Story set up is solid and the level design is easy to navigate

Such a fun experience, I really enjoyed the story and atmosphere. Loved the different character designs. I didn't have any audio playing, but to be honest it is still enjoyable without it. Great Submission, nailed the Gameboy style!

Very cool! Definitely captured the gameboy spirit! Reminded me of some old games from my childhood...

Only thing missing is some sound (I'm one to speak, mine is missing sound, too and it's not nearly as polished as yours)
