I really like the animations in this game!

How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
You are a ghost, your purpose is to scare people

Really fun idea and I loved the music you went with for it too. The art is great too and you did a good job of finding new ways to expand the gameplay despite only a single button. I definitely could have used more of a tutorial as it took me a bit to figure out how to get past the cracked wall but otherwise loved it. Nice job!
Simple concept that makes for very fun gameplay. Just the right amount of challenging without being frustrating too. Love it!
Liked the stealth mechanics in this! Enjoyed how you could possess objects and duck through doors to shake the janitors off. The story was cute and the idea here was pretty ambitious and well executed! Only thing this really needed was some last-minute polish, I wish the player movement was a little faster and detonating the walls was easier.
Nice mechanic! Once I got the hang of it, it was a fun lil' game! I enjoyed throwing stuff at people ✌
Cool game mechanic with possessing objects (and people)! I enjoyed throwing the objects at walls :)
Alright,
After some trial and error, and some help from other comments here, could finish it. Feels quite complete.
Engaging music, and my favorite aspect is that the characters are quite expressive. Love being sucked by the vacuumers, and seeing their happy face afterwards :D
I streamed your game, heres the Vod if you like to watch
It took me a minute to get the hang of it, but eventually I did. There were a few points where I got stuck either between people and a wall or a grate and an object and was unable to go into the one I wanted. All in all it was pretty cool, though.
Super cool idea, art and audio! Loved this little game, it had some nice puzzling elements! I’d love to see an extension / post-jam version of this where I could possess random objects for no particular reason just so I could roam around as an entire table.
Great entry!
EDIT: I realize now I’ve played this twice and commented TWICE.. My brain is truly fried from playing all these games haha.
Jumpscared by the ending sounds! Ahh!
Cool mechanics, can’t wait to continue working forever after I die
Heh the ending jump scare was actually a bug not a feature, believe it or not! xD The ending music is started multiple times, a bug that only happens in the browser version, so we did not catch it :( I posted earlier in the comments here a link to what the music is supposed to sound like
Thank you for playing!
I am deeply disturbed by the theological implications of the premise!
That was fun! The art is proficient and charming, and the mechanics are competent.
Was the first ending slide, the one with the people running away, the only ending slide? I only ask because, as the ending came up, a horrific cacophony of very loud noises started playing for a whole minute, and it seemed really strange. It was as if the ending slides weren't playing but the ending sound had started multiple times. It might only be a problem on my end.
All-in-all, good work!
Heya, Indeed I believe there is a bug with the web verion. Windows build of the game (which we didn’t upload) does not have this bug, we only noticed the issue with the web version, at the last minute when we uploaded. Quite unfortunate. Indeed it sounds like the ending music is playing multiple times and makes the music we made for it unintelligible :(
SPOILER, this is what the ending of the game is supposed to sound like: https://youtu.be/6_8frTvZI_o?si=dxY-9ddYx3tkGu45&t=111
Great game! Liked the idea, the puzzles were fun and it played really well giving a real Gameboy feel. Only the part with blowing up 6 blocks one after another felt a bit slow and unnecessary. Maybe having that combined with some other puzzle/mechanic would have worked better.
