Very well made game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)

Decent little shooter with a cool ship design whose size ups the difficulty a bit. Would have liked to have been able to shoot with a key press, but the auto-shoot works to add difficulty (or at least feels that way to me).

Cool entry! I loved the palette on this one, and the spaceship sprite is awesome. As others have said, once you reach power level 3, the game gets considerably easier. Before that, it's hell! :D

First, this is has some really pretty sprites, and I love the palate.

I feel like the "unfair level of difficulty" is kind of offset once you get the third powerup and nothing survives long enough for you to see it onscreen.

Also, autofire feels super weird on a retro-styled shooter, but that's just my preference.

Pretty neat; I particularly liked the animation of the ship. Sadly, the boss was too easy to defeat.

Decent SHUMP. Very hard.

Got to over 22,000 score which I don't think was bad! It isn't displayed long enough after defeat. I liked the mechanic of your shot count degrading, cause you get to 3 and it's easy for a while, then you panic when you're back to 2! Neat little game! :)
