Very challenging game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)

Very cool idea. Controls are a bit tricky but getting used to them is part of the challenge/fun.

Challenging game, Good music! =D

Liked the concept! The music is catchy and the sfx is pretty cool, too, love the retro gameboy sound. Gameplay wise, I think I got confused at times because it wasn't clear where I could fly to - eg. the reachable area wasn't visible from where I was, so I'd just fly randomly and hope I landed somewhere interesting. The idea has a lot of potential though!

Boring,

I just spammed the arrow keys and the R button and got infinite flying powers

Very unique mechanic! I never felt quite comfortable with what I was doing though - for similar reasons as other people maybe. I mostly just mashed keys after a while and hoped for the best. I did find it a little cheap that an enemy could shoot me while off screen, but I wasn't able to hit them. Overall though, nice entry - loved the music!

It took me a little bit to get used to controls but once I got it I found a fun game. Interesting game mechanic.

Good job on this one. Interesting concept and rewarding little puzzles. I really liked the feeling the fist time "I got it" - Aaaah yeeea!

Really clever concept. I agree with the other comments about the reloading being confusing; maybe having a larger ammo capacity and only being able to reload when on solid ground would help?

Submitted

Interesting concept, though I was confused what the purpose of the reload was; I found that I simply mashed the spacebar while playing at all times because there was never any reason not to.

I played up until the first level with an enemy, but once it killed me I couldn't retry. Not sure if that's a bug.

Interesting mechanic, but I feel like you can abuse just mashing reload and arrow keys too much.

Pretty cool mechanic! I think the camera is too zoomed in, so it's difficult to see where can I go. (Maybe an arrow and multiple checkpoints would be nice). When shooting multiple bullets at the same time, the acceleration sometimes is too much.

Fun game! I am not very good at it, but its still fun :)
