Thanks everyone <3 we're so happy with the positive feedback!
The cat's movement is very cool! Good game! =D
Th cat transition from horizontal to vertical feels super weird. The music is a bit meh. The gameboy feel is here, but not the gamefeel.
Very, very good! I love how you implemented the cat's movement! :D
Nice job!
a solid, relatively fiathful, aesthetic. Pretty fun gameplay and the walljumping strikes a really nice balance of feeling good but also doesn't break the gameboy feel.
Also really impressive ammount of levels designed for a jam
The game feels good and looks good. Wall jump makes exploration great.
Loved this cute game. Loved the hardcore version even more!
Nice game, good use of what would be a limited number of sprites for the gameboy with some rather stylish visuals in both foreground and background. I sadly got stuck on level 2 as I'm guessing I went to grab the kitties in the wrong order perhaps? Cool wall jump mechanic and, well as sampled sound is technically possible on actual gameboy you could make this run on real hardware, nice one!
Lovely game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)
This is very well made, enjoyable mechanics and a clear goal. Cool game!
Very well done! I remember seeing this at earlier stages, and the level artwork really helped bring the final product together.
A couple minor bugs: sometimes the walljump sound effect plays at a louder volume, and when you die and retry a level, the UI showing you how many animals have been rescued is missing.
A cool game, good graphics and interesting scenarios and a very functional leap mechanics.
So good! It takes a simple premise but builds such a solid game around it. I played this the longest of any game from the jam.
I think this is one of the coolest cat games for the jam i've seen! Very cool.
Great game! I especially like the quiet "mew" the cat makes when it takes damage.
cool animations, nice little game!
This is not only impressive considering the limitations, but it's super fun to play. Nice work!
