Lovely graphics! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)
Cool entry, I see a lot of potential in this one! Awesome assets, the tileset and characters are amazing. While I had some problems with the battle system and had a hard time figuring out the relation my daily activities have with the dream dungeon, this idea is truly cool, and I'd love to see it polished and developed further!
Excellent choice of colors. Great animations. Fun concept of choosing your daytime activities to influence the dream dungeons (tho admittedly I couldn't tell what the influencers did much, perhaps with more playing). All in all a great little jam entry.
love the art. good job
Graphics are excellent. It would be nice if I only heard sound effects for monsters close to me, and if their sprites disappeared before they exploded (Just nitpicking though). Also, sometimes the camera stops following the player.
I love the concept of what you do during the day effecting what happens in your dreams. I don't know that I noticed any differences during play, but maybe I just need to give it more time.
Sick graphics and cool concept :D
Sounds and looks great in the screenshots! I love the art and color palette. It's a little bit too buggy, and I feel like I can't finesse the gameplay to avoid taking a bunch of damage and dying. The background music is awesome! But it's clouded and drowned out by the sound effects of enemies that aren't even on the screen.
Those sprites look amazing! Graphical glitches aside, this is one of the best looking games in the jam.
Having energy that goes down when attacking makes it hard when the bats show up. Like, if they always come towards me, how am I supposed to swipe them away when i can only swipe a couple times?
Loved the pixels. As mentioned in other comments, had a few glitches. Draw multiple sprites for the player for a single action state (like idle with attack) was the most common. The camera follow script felt off as well - almost like it wanted to stay at the top of whatever room I was in.
For what I've seen it has one of the coolest palettes and overall graphics of the jam. But the game is glitchy and doesn't invite to replay it.
The sound and graphics were very nice but the game play was very glitchy. When I tried sprinting it made two players. The camera was wierd. Sometimes it wouldn't fallow the player and when you walked over to the side of the screen it would jump over.
