Did you use any third-party assets or skeleton code?
yes, I did use skeleton code
I have used the enemy health, player health, player movement, enemy movement and bullet shooting scripts from a project I created few moths ago i have heavily modified the following scripts to fit this game
i also copied the camera shake script from this video

Interesting idea but needs to be balanced and have some feedback. Not even a simple turret to show direction the player is looking at.
Great idea, and I love the music
But it's insanely difficult...!
No way! the enemy blocks spawn right on top of you and so fast. That was level one, that kind of speed should come later after some warm-up and getting a feel for the game.
I think the base idea of punishing the player on missed shots is cool (and also really suits the theme of the jam!), but the movement is way too fast (i'm always getting into ennemies), and the bullets do so little damage, to the point that a single miss can quickly be a problem: a miss => more ennemies => more shooting => more misses => more ennemies => death x). It snowballs very fast!
I think it may be worth it to elaborate on the concept, with more polishing it could be fun!
It is very abrupt. Enemies move fast and spawn right under my nose. Player moves fast to the point where it feels out of my control. If enemies would at least spawn outside of view, it would give me time to react and not accidentally walk into them. Try making the enemy movement slower at the beginning and make it grow progressively more difficult and it will definitely be fun. But the theme is matched pretty well.
thanks for the feedback
this is insanely difficult to the point of being unfun imo
I like the premise is cool, a very high-stakes twist on target-perfect shooters, but the movement feels so fast and twitchy that you have no chance of sensibly navigating the arena. Also, the enemies are so damn tanky, and you resetting to the center instead of the opposite wall when going off the map felt like extra punishment
This is a game concept that's really intriuing but needs a lot of polish to properly work, or at least be accessible to less hardcore / masochistic audiences ^^
Thanks for honest feedback, you resetting to the center features was added at the very end of development so i understand why it feels so unpolished.once the jam ends i will update the game with better screen wrap and slower enemies. Thanks for playing
Difficult, I dig it.
