The visuals are amazing. The fighting is a bit pointless when you oneshot the enemies, but is still fun to hear the sounds when you punch.

It's short as you said, but if everything was made by you, great work!

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the combat in the game still wants to be better, in the future I will add new mechanics so that the combat does not seem the same. Initially, the game was supposed to have firearms, but I did not have enough time to implement it.

Yes, I made the whole game myself.

The game its very curios, the mechanics are nice, the gameplay a little bit rough and the graphics are just awesome, pretty nice game, I really enjoyed it

Great visuals and mechanics, The combat felt a bit weird though but great job!

The presentation is quite amazing, fight and run animations and models are very polished and I've seen released games that looked way worse than this.

The storytelling and setting of the game works well!

the fighting mechanic lacks a bit of depth to be interesting. Maybe adding a block/dodge mechanic would have made it more engaging.
The screenshake is a bit too hard, I would have loved to see hitstop, VFX and/or post process to add more juiciness to the fights.

Good work :)

Just played, I think that the visuals all looked really good and had an interesting camera.

I think the combat could use a little bit of tuning, making it feel more responsive/rewarding.

Fun entry!

What I liked:

  • The movement and jumping felt very responsive
  • The models for the scenes looked very professional

What I think could be improved:

  • Going through doors was very buggy for me. I ended up just punching them all down which worked more consistently
  • The combat felt button mash-y to me. Not being able to move past enemies in your way made it feel like I didn't really have a choice in my gameplay.
  • There wasn't a sound effect or animation for when the money goes up, so I didn't notice for a while what was happening

Thank you for your feedback, I will consider it!

Alright!!

Before going into the game itself, what engine is this? It was very problematic to get the game up and running. VSRedist wanted to be repaired and restart my computer. NVidia said my drivers had known issues with DirectX12 and stuff.

It was worth it though!

It is a little annoying to respawn back home when I die at the store 24/7. Especially if that's the only playable mission at this stage?

I'm missing some juiciness in the fighting. I can't hear if I hit, really. I'm not sure why I lose all the time :D

But the visuals are amazing, very nice render pipeline and low poly style. The music fits nice and breaths action too.

I would have liked to play some more if I didn't have to run, hit E and click at least 3 times to try again :D

Awesome submission, very cool stuff!

Thank you for your comment. The game was created on Unreal Engine 5 and that's the reason why people have trouble getting into the game.

Of course, if people like this game, I will continue to create it, unfortunately, I did not have time to fix all the bugs until the end of the game jam and create more levels, since I create the game myself.

Ah, UE5. You really made it look good!

Yes I know, it's very hard to not overscope when going solo. Haven't tried making a team jam yet, but will soon. Previous jam I postponed boss, level design and export to last 2 days, and the level turned out generic to say the least.

How does it work to use 3rd party animations by the way? Oh wait, UE requires the bones to have specific names, right? Then any compatible animation can be applied to it?

Once again, awesome work and so far the most good looking game I've played.

On mixamo.com you can also create a skeleton for your model, that`s really useful if you don't have a big team to create your game.

Thank you for your comment.
Yes, I also wanted to create more levels, but I didn't have more time :(
