I like the main mecanic to stole to pay your rent. I can see a lot of works (love the loading scene) from you, and also lot of policemen haha !

The theme is interesting but the mechanics and the gameplay do not end up being very juicy.  Over all was pretty fun to play and fits quite well with the jam theme

Hi guys, I don't know if you're Aussie Devs. But hello from SA.

Found this game to be fun and amusing. the ideas were good and models were great too!

90's style loading screens A+ haha.

What I liked:

  • I thought the concept was cool and fit the theme well (unbiased opinion from someone that also submitted a shoplifting game (mine is 2d though)
  • the cell phone as the hud was creative and functional

What could be improved:

  • I think making a bigger store wouldve made it more interesting. I thought the store felt really cramped with workers so it was hard to not raise the sus meter
  • The scooter felt kinda janky and I wasnt really sure where to go

Really nice polish on the artistic direction, the mood works well!

I wasn't sure what was making my "sus meter" go up. For the exterior part, it was really hard to dodge the enemies, and since you have a game over after only getting touch once, it was a bit frustrating :/

Overall, it was fun stealing in the market and feeling like we're back in 2000 again ^^

There sure were lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of snakes...

The presentation and visual vibes of this pretty fun! I liked all the attention to detail in the assets, like the graffiti in the bathroom, using the system time on the phone, the dvd covers, etc.

The throw physics were also hilarious because no one really reacted violently, they just accepted getting hit lmao

The gameplay itself was a bit difficult to discern tho, I got caught the first time because I didn't even realize I was in control during the scooter segment, and the final "game over" screen makes it seem like I lose but I don't think there's any way I can have a screen that tells me anything more except for the court summons

Aside from that, there were also a few weird but minor QoL hiccups, like the game launching on my second monitor, the credits not being skippable and the main menu hover button discoloration not lining up with where my cursor was

So overall in my opinion, a fun game that's very pleasant to look at but could do with a pass on general UX :3

I thought it was some horror game at first. The game gave me some good laugh while running for my life from those cops. Getting a bit of gta vibe but overall nice game

It would be nice if the credit roll was a bit faster or having a restart button.
