An interesting blend of mellow aesthetics and palm sweating platformer! A very unqiue combination worth exploring more! :)

If I had to improve it I'd make the controls simpler. Perhaps I'd replace the up button with spacebar, so it's spacebar to jump and once aligned with the ladder pressing spacebar again performs the same function up currently does.

Which platformers are most similar to this? I want more :)

Great game. I only got 22 points in the game. Everything about the game is nice.

I like the art style

It's a good game. My only suggestion is to put instruction on how to play the game.

Really liked this game and it controls fairly nice. 

Graphics and sound are consistent and well integrated.

Only issue I take is that because you use the arrow keys to move, and you don't use the mouse during gameplay, using a key to reset would be nicer. 

Also there are technically no text telling you controls, but the game is simple enough.

A bit too hard for me, looks really interesting though!

The game makes you want to play it again despite the difficulty and in general that's a good sign :)

The graphics are simple but clean, the music fits the general atmosphere of the game.

It's a shame that the gameplay is not linked to the theme.

The main flaw for me was the repetition of the jump when you are on the stairs.

This is my favorite type of game, simple controls but deceptively tricky. The music, sound, and art fit great as well. A really fun challenge.

Some instructions would be nice, but after a few tries I realized that you can move the ladder with the arrows. The game is very difficult, requires precise movement and reflexes, and every mistake is punished. On the technical side, the graphics are minimalistic, but that is by no means a negative thing, and the music is calming.

Nice and challenging game

This is one of the most deceptively difficult games I've played in this. Reminds me a bit of Donkey Kong with the ladder climbing. Some instructions would've helped though. 
Still, a lot of fun once I figured it out. Great job

This game was truly challenging, even though the controls worked well when I figured them out. I think some simple instructions below the game or at least the layout of the controls would help! Good work though!

I worked out that you can climb the ladders by using up, but its a very difficult game, menu, text and the graphics look pretty cool, but I can't get very far to see the rest of the game, I got to like 30 points, be cool if it had a leader board as well to see how far others got
