This was a ton of fun, super engaging design with excellent pacing. That great combo of easy to understand, hard to master.

Checkpoints are a solid idea for sure. I thought about making it so the player doesn't fall, they just slip and pull themselves back up, which would result in way less restarts. Thanks for the notes on #2.

Once I got the hang of things I had a lot of fun with the mechanics, and thought all of the little details in the animations added a ton of character to the whole thing.

Very nice use of the theme and an extremely engaging design. This is totally the sort of game I'd bust out on my phone if I'm stuck waiting somewhere, nice work!

Thanks! One thing I wanted to try out was a move canceling grenade, so you could "reset" some of robots in an area.

This was really well done and lots of fun. Very clever mechanic that fit the theme well, great job!

Thanks! The final version was a bit more difficult than I originally intended, but I'm glad you still had fun.

This game was a blast! Smooth controls, strong visuals, and very consistent style. Nice work!

This game was lots of fun! Well polished, good execution, and excellent use of the theme.

Clever use of the theme and some really well designed puzzles in here, great job!

Some cool ideas here, the dog was very fun to command and the sound effects were really well done.

Very intuitive design and great use of the theme, nice work!

This is a neat mechanic and presented some interesting challenges. One thing I think could make some amazing puzzles is if the slime platforms could be built off of each other (and not just the walls).

I really enjoy these types of deceptively simple games and had a blast playing this. Fun mechanics, good use of the theme, and the decision to make the obstacles subtract points but not kill you was an excellent one as it kept things tough without feeling impossible. Really nicely done!

Really cute and a fun mechanic that's a good use of the theme.

I really liked the control scheme once I got a little practice, but it was kind of hard to distinguish the enemy bullets from the enemy ships.

A fun challenge once you get the hang of it, nice work!

I liked the art style quite a bit and really dug the concept. You did a good job introducing the different block/monster behaviors in a way that wasn't overwhelming. It's got a lot of potential to grow in very interesting ways, nicely done!

I thought this was a really fun concept and great use of the theme.

Thanks! My original plan involved a high score leaderboard but I had to cut that along with a few other things as time started to run out. I might do some updates after the jam though.

Cool use of the theme, the mechanic is interesting and makes you think about space differently than you would a standard platformer. I also dug the art style and thought it complimented the game nicely.

Thanks for the kind words! It's my first jam so that means a lot.

This is a really fun mechanic and great use of the theme, nicely done!

Really draws you in with a ton of atmosphere, nice work!

I really enjoyed this, easy to understand concept but the puzzles were still challenging.

Thanks for the kind words! The overall look took a lot of trial and error (and I ended up scrapping all of the sprites more than once), so I'm happy to hear I made the right call in the end.

Thanks for the feedback! I toyed around with a few different alignment ideas and one day might expand the game to add one or two of the more interesting ones as an option.

This was a cool mechanic that I don't think I've really seen before, easy to grasp but challenging.

This was a lot of fun, designing it so that the player needs focus on two different areas at once provided a really satisfying challenge.

It was cool that the upgrade options varied between the stages so you had some interesting decisions to make about your build.

It's a fun challenge and I like the background star scrolling effect. Just one note that the reload screen sprites have noticeably different pixel sizes from than the rest of the game, which takes you out of the experience a bit.

I left it vague, but yeah I've generally thought of it as a ship. Regarding the speed just an FYI as I may not have made it obvious enough, but the game speed adjusts up/down depending on how many ships are on the screen so that's one way to slow things down a bit.

Could always be a new ability (kind of like the way you get Super Sonic after collecting the Chaos Emeralds).

Really liked the simple art style and design, the stars were always an extra tempting challenge .

Very fun and nicely polished, loved the graphics and way the mechanics/enemies were introduced.

The sound, art, and story add a lot to the immersion, but I think it would be easier to explore the environment more if your character moved just a little faster than the zombies.

This is my favorite type of game, simple controls but deceptively tricky. The music, sound, and art fit great as well. A really fun challenge.

Really good use of the theme, it was fun flashing back and forth between worlds.
