amazing man
made sure to give a rating!
can you check out my game to?
Thanks
😀😀😀😀
Isn't it very similar to this game https://donitz.itch.io/onoff ?
This game was inspired by that game on off
Hey Speedy Cat - Wow! What an ambitious project for the jam, super unique take on the theme. I was gripped by it, and I especially loved the immersive sound. It's amazing what you can do when you pay close attention to sound design. It would be awesome to see a full length 3D horror game from you made in GDevelop! Thank you for sharing.
And if you haven't had a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would love any feedback, thanks!
Thanks😁
Normally I'd skip first person horror games, but the build up using purely sound design has me engage up until the car jumpscare. That's some simple but effective 3D use right here.
Thanks😃
Trying to make a story based game is a risky move in game jams, as you sacrifice gameplay over narrative. In this entry in particular the only resemblance of gameplay is just turning a switch on and off without any form of comprehensive feedback for the player. Even if the action of turning the switch is as simple as a mouse click, I was not sure if I was doing the right thing, which comes as a result of the game lacking proper feedback for the player. But the meats and potatoes of this entry is clearly the story; which I found confusing and not that engaging. I understand that you tried to replicate the feeling of a horror movie, but the way the events are presented in the story makes them feel incoherent and random, and by the end of the game I didn't get anything from the narrative. Still, I respect your attempt of creating a unique and risky entry for the jam, and I would like to see a better version of this game with a better presentation and a cohesive narrative.
thanks for the feedback and I can't work on the project because the file broke😪
I appreciate your utilization of the 3D features in GDevelop; they add depth to the experience. However, the current gameplay feels more akin to a simple on-and-off simulator rather than a fully-fledged game. Incorporating a variety of gameplay elements could significantly enhance the quality and enjoyment of your game.
thanks for the feedback
How do I turn the character? I was stuck on the first light switch for minutes and couldn't, for the life of me, figure out how to do anything.
just click light switch😉
nice game :)
would you also mind checking out my game and provide a rating? https://itch.io/jam/gdevelop-game-jam-4/rate/2216257
thanks😻
thanks👁👄👁
Not really a game in the literal sense. More like an interactive horror story. Some will like it, some won't. Interesting to me as a different way of using Gdevelop.
thanks for playing. And I like your Game
The game is interesting but I think it lasts too short to convey fear in the player, and the jumpscares were quite trivial and too fast. Sure with some improvements you could make this game scarier.
thanks and I can't work on the project because the file broke😥
