Presentation is the strongest part of the game, the artist and composer did an amazing job. The gameplay loop is really simple, my only complain is that it's a too repetitive and not that difficult. However, the story kept me engage until the end and it was a really cool take on the theme. I really respect the approach that this game took, and overall this is an amazing experience. Great job!

The presentation is gorgeous, I really love the mix of pixel art with 3D. The music is also really catchy and it fits the atmosphere pretty well. Regarding gameplay, this is really interesting and original concept. The gameplay loop is really simple but addictive. Each day you receive a score and you are incentivize to increase your score each day, and that is a really nice way of adding replay value. Overall, it is a really fun and cute game, great job!
I think there were some really cool ideas in this game but their execution was flawed. I think the fighting is the best part of the game, while it is a really simple hack n' slash there are a few abilities that make the gameplay diverse. However, the dash feels awkward to control because it follows the mouse instead of where the character is facing. I found this design choice rather confusing and it makes the game harder to play, especially considering that there is an emphasis on platforming using the dahs. While the platforming is rather basic, it's still hard to land where you want. If this mechanic was polished I think the game will feel better. Overall, there is a really strong foundation for a top down action game, and with some polish it could be a really fun experience.
First of all, this game is impressive for a jam. It is an ambitious turn based rpg with really interesting mechanics. I really like how you implemented transmutation into the battle system, it is a really cool take on the theme. The presentation is quite unique too, I found it really charming and it reminds me to Earthbound. However, I got stuck after battling the fish and I could not progress further no matter what I did. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or if this is a bug. Either way, this was a really cool game and I hope this becomes a full game in the future.
I found the gameplay loop to be really addicting, one way you could make this into a full game could be creating an arcade mode that goes forever but the difficulty scales as you keep playing. Of course, this mode could be complementary to the small campaign you already have, but to be honest this game is so much fun that I’d play an infinite mode from time to time.
It's crazy how cool this game is. First of all, the style of this game is really well done, it's like a 90s 3D that reassembles games from the Nintendo 64 and PS1 era, while also having also looking like something out of a toys commercial from the era. I really loved this vibes and just because of that I think this is one of the best presented games in this jam. Gameplay wise this game is also amazing and fun, like the whole concept being a mix of tower defense and shooter is executed so well and it's so original This game is filled with charisma, style and fun. I must congratulate you for such a masterpiece and if you decide to make this a full game, I'd definitely check it out. Amazing game!
This is the cutest game ever, everything from the main character, to the environment, even the enemies, all of them were adorable. I really loved the vibes this game was giving. However, gameplay wise I don't feel that strong mainly due to two things, the movement is rather slow and the level design is not as interesting. I feel like filling out the levels with ponds that make the character move slower could be an interesting idea, however most of the time I just ended up just jumping until I reach the end without putting a lot of thought into it. Also, while I like the utilization of a fixed camera to give more power to certain parts of the game, it's also worth noting that there were times where the camera behaved strangely and it blocked my view. Overall, I think this is a pretty charming and interesting entry for the jam, I'd love to see a full version in the future that improves upon the foundation laid by the entry. Great job.
So, this is a strange entry for a jam, it seems like a parody of most mobile gachas, which is a really interesting concept. However, I think the execution of the idea was not the best, I feel like the game did not quite have a gameplay loop and there is a lot of room for improvement. Still, I think this entry is one of the most original ones in the jam and if you decide to make this a full game I'd love to see the direction you take with this project. Also, Usagi is really cute <3
First of all, all 5s for this game, I must congratulate the team because you all did an amazing job. So far this is my favorite entry in the jam, and there is a lot I want to say about it. I really loved the retro style, it fits so well while also giving the game an unique and attractive style. This game is insane (in a good way). There is a lot of moving pieces to the point that it becomes frantic and exhilarating, it's a really fun game that is not afraid of doing crazy things, and I love that. My favorite part of the game was discovering each vehicle, despite all of them having small differences, it was fun to see how much is packed into such a small game. While the gameplay loop might be simplistic, because of how frenetic the game is, I was pulled back to replay it a few more times and it's probably the most fun I've have playing games in this jam. This game is a masterpiece!!
This game has a concept that I found really interesting, it's a puzzle platformer where you have to shift between different modes to reach the goal. The mode shifts was executed pretty smartly and the level design was really interesting, not too hard but not too easy either. Overall I really liked how well designed the game is however there is one issue that truly made my enjoyment slightly worse and that is the character movement. It's quite slow and heavy, and while it is a feeling that you can get used to, at first it does not feel good to control. However, if the character was a little bit faster I would say this game would be amazing, there is a foundation for a really great game with tons of creative and fun ideas, and I would definitely check a more polished version of it. Great job!
This game looks gorgeous, the presentation truly sold me this game immediately. I really like the utilization of colors and lighting, it gives the game a feel of coziness that is both lovely and engaging. I truly loved the mood and presentation of the game, it's a really relaxing and beautiful experience. It is almost unbelievable a game this good looking was made just in a few weeks, I wonder what the team would be capable with more time to work. I congratulate you for such a great game!
Mystery Dungeon is one of my favorite game series, and this game seems to recreate the feeling of those games. I'm incredibly impressed by how you capture the essence of those games while also providing your own twist to the formula. I really like the system of rotating between different attacks and having random effects, it makes the player create strategies on the fly while also adapting to different situations, it's a smart and creative usage of the theme. While I love the concept and the presentation, however I have one main issue with the game and is how slow the game feels. Moving through the levels does not feel as satisfying and the combat can feel quite unsatisfying. I truly loved taking out enemies strategically, but the slow feeling made the experience slightly worse. However, do not get discourage, this idea is really good and I truly love your twist on the formula, so I'd still say this game is great and one of my favorite usages of the theme in the jam. Hope you keep working on this idea and make a more polished version, I'd definitely check it out!
This game is insane, the presentation and movement are top notch, probably the best presentation I've seen so far in the jam. The feeling is also really well done, it is both responsive and it is well complemented by the level design. This game uses all their pieces smartly creating an experience that is both engaging and fun. This is one of the best entries in the jam and I congratulate the team for such an amazing work!
Oh my god this game is really awesome and it's also such an immersive experience. This is probably one of my favorite games so far and it truly deserves more recognition in the jam. First of all, the music is really good, probably my favorite aspect of the game, it's both catchy and allows the player to get into the world of the game. Another aspect I like is the presentation, I really like the simple style and the minimalistic approach with the color palettes, it gives the game a more unique aspect. I really had a lot of fun playing the game and I would love to play a full version of this game as there is a lot of potential in this entry. Probably my only complain would be the utilization of the theme, as I'd wish it was implemented more into the gameplay, but to be honest, the overall quality of the entry is so good that I still have to congratulate you for such an amazing experience. I hope more people get to play this game as it deserves way more attention!
This is an amazing game, first of all, I have to say that the sound effects are top notch. My favorite ones are the death sound scream, the dusters, and the bouncing, they are all extremely satisfying and funny. There is also a lot of attention to details, I love how if you hold the click on the menu the character keeps shaking. Regarding the gameplay, this one is extremely fun and well designed, as the mechanics are introduced smartly and the difficulty scales progressively as you advance. It never feels too easy, but not too hard either, it's balance in such a way that it makes the game enjoyable and makes me want to master the mechanics to keep pushing forward. The game has an amazing feel to it and I had a lot of fun playing it, and I'm sure that if this game was ever to be released as a full game, it would be extremely popular in speedruns. However there is one issue I found while playing the game, and it was section that I got stuck at where one of the vents was not activating with the duster, I tried activating it from multiple angles, but could not get it to work. At first I thought that it was a matter of me not being really good at the game, but after checking the other comments I realized that another user had an issue with that same section. Still, I hold my compliments to this game, it's really fun and engaging and I congratulate the team for such an incredible game, I hope more people get to play it because you all deserve it!
This game surprised me in so many ways, it's both a collection of smaller games and also a horror game, this is a combination of elements that I would never expect, but somehow this entry managed to pull really well. Firstly, the presentation is really well crafted with an eerie and quiet atmosphere which creates a sense of discomfort. I also really enjoyed the attention to detail, to start a game you have to load the game first on a different screen and then you can play it on another screen, it's a little annoying, but it adds to essence and keeps the player immerse. This game has a unorthodox gameplay loop, but I ended up loving it and I'm shocked that a game like this was made for a jam. I congratulate you for creating such a masterpiece!
I understand that the main mechanic of the game is how slippery the main character is, which is an interesting choice and I respect the risk. However, this is a really hard game, and as much as I try, I can't get used to the character movement. This game might not be for me, but I can see a really cool and unique idea coming from this entry.
A way the graphics could be improved would be to rethink the utilization of the color palette, while black and red are two good colors to mix together, it felt like there was little to no contrast nor balance between both. One simple way to balance both colors would be to use one of them for the platforms and obstacles, while the other is used for the characters. That way it would be easier to differentiate elements in the game; however, this is just an example, not a rule. There might be other ways to improve the graphics aside from the example presented in this reply, and I would admit that I respect and encourage your choice of trying to recreate a unique experience.
This game has a lot of potential and I would definitely play a full version of this game. However, I feel like the shooting is quite unbalanced, mainly because the bullet comes out really slow, and while this is functional for platforming, it makes combat harder which seems to be one of the focus of the game.
Survival horrors are really unique experiences and I understand the appeal of this genre. This game includes some of the better aspects of the survival horror genre by limiting the player's options and providing a sense of tension at all times. However, I feel like this game overstayed its welcome after the second level but the overall experience was still really cool. My only real complain would be that the dialogue is really hard to read, which really made me lose interest in the story early on. But I think there is a solid foundation for a really cool horror game in this entry.
I cannot believe that it took me so long to play this game, this is easily one of the most unique, interesting and engaging entries in the jam!
First of all, the presentation is spectacular, every aspect of the game is carefully crafted with a really classic but gorgeous style. The song accompanying the game fits perfectly with the mood that is trying to convey. Despite being a really short game, every aspect of it is clever and really well crafted and I must congratulate you for this entry. I would definitely love to see this game become a larger product in the future!
This is a surprisingly addictive game!
I really enjoyed the gameplay loop despite how simple it is. The movement is on point as the character feels good to control, which is one of the hardest aspect to master while making a platformer. Congrats on making this game, it is easily one of the best ones I have played so far in the jam. My only nitpick would be that there is pretty much no reason to turn off the laser, I was able to farm hundreds of points without turning it off; I would suggest that if you expand on this concept in the future, you should add more restrictions to this laser attack. But despite this minor issue, I still think this game is amazing!
I really liked the concept behind this game, it's really simple however the gameplay loop is quite nice and fun. But for some reason when I kill an enemy there is period of time (about a second or two) where they can still kill me even though their sprite is invisible. I'm not sure if this mechanic was intended or not (mainly because you can still see the enemy's eyes) but I think the game would be better without that.
I like the attempt of creating a replayable platformer with engaging movement, the addition of triple jump, wall jump and body slam were truly great. However, the presentation could have received some improvement, I was not really sure what I was looking at most of the time. But the foundation of the game is really solid and I would like to see a new version of this game with better graphics.
I like the idea of taking and removing the terrain where the character moves, but at times that mechanic felt purposeless. Still, the game was really fun, the feedback for the player was decent, however at first I was confused on how the attack charge worked. The UI is definitely an area that could be improved, as the information is spread in such a way that is really difficult to understand what is the purpose of each meter. However, the foundation for this entry is really solid and I would love to see a future version of the game with more mechanics and enhancements.
From all the games I've played so far, this one probably has the most unique and interesting use of the theme. Firstly, I'm a huge fan of RPGs; regarding turn based combat, while some people might find it outdated, I still think it's a really cool system. And while this game presents a really basic battle system, I found it quite interesting. I like the idea of put your clothing on or off to adapt to different challenges, however I feel like the battle system barely takes any advantage of that idea. This is a concept I would love to see further explored in the future.
My favorite part of the game was how every time you change direction the character made a funny flip reminiscent of Paper Mario. However, the game did not work properly with me. The camera sometimes acted strangely and moved to weird positions. Also I found the design of the levels really confusing as there are certain platforms that seems like that you will be able to walk on them, but actually they have no collision at all.
There were times where I was sent back to the beginning of the level randomly and I couldn't get far in the game due to that reason. However, the little I could play was interesting, the jetpack and the gravity mechanics are cool ideas that with a little bit more polish could result in a really interesting game.
This game is really addictive, I found myself playing multiple rounds because the gameplay loop was just that much fun. Switching between movement and shooting is such a clever mechanic because it makes the player think about strategic positioning which is so cool and refreshing. The only aspects that I was not that convinced by were the visuals and the enemies, while the style is consistent throughout the game, some of the elements are visually confusing; for instance, there is an enemy that drops green orbs and I was not sure exactly if that was supposed to be good or bad at first. In regard to the enemies, sometimes it feels like they are too small and hard to hit, I understand that shooters usually require certain level of precision, however at times I felt like I couldn't aim properly at the enemies due to their size. But these two are just minors complains, and I would still agree that this game is really great and I would definitely play a full version of this game with a wide variety of enemies and mechanics.
Despite the really simple graphics and style, the game manages to create a really engaging and unique atmosphere that is both gorgeous and fascinating. I found myself astonish on how beautiful the game looked even though it's just a bunch of black and white squares/rectangles. Gameplay wise the idea is really cool, however I found a softlock in one of the later levels, and without a proper way to restart the level, I had to play all the game again just to beat that stage, which left me a little disappointed. Still, this game was really fun!
Both the presentation and the movement are rough. It was really hard to land some of the jumps, especially after the mushroom at the beginning. Also I would appreciate a checkpoint system if you plan to make long levels, as it felt discouraging to repeat almost the entirety of the level after making a small mistake. Still, there is a foundation for a fun game if you decide to polish this entry in the future.
Switching gravity is a little tricky at first, but once you get the hangs on the mechanic it becomes way more manageable. However, I felt like the character moved way too fast while alternating gravity which made some levels harder. Overall the game was good, maybe it needed a little more polish in the presentation, but I really enjoyed this entry for the jam.
