very well done not too easy not too hard although the fact that you can walk in water in one area but in another area you drown is kinda confusing very well done but it can be a bit confusing p.s pls play my game https://itch.io/jam/gdevelop-game-jam-4/rate/2214540 rating are greatly appreciated

This was pretty cool! An electric ring that can shock you is a very nice ludonarrative. I was never confused about any of the mechanics. The art is very polished.

Great work!

Nice puzzle game but i encountered a bug at the 5th level door, the character disappears and nothing happens, good job !

I'm impressed by the graphics; your game boasts a distinctive style. However, it might be worthwhile to develop a more polished main menu. Additionally, adjusting the camera to bring us closer to the scene could help, as the character currently appears quite small.

Ring Lab is cool! Nice take on the on\off theme, some fun puzzles, and really great pixel art. It would have been nice to have some music/audio, but I understand the time limitations.

On the final level I went through the door before collecting the white item at the top and the game froze. But it was nice that you implemented a "restart level" function, which I used. And also, an invincibility mode, very nice! So, I did beat the game.

If you get a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would love any feedback, thanks!

Cool concept for a puzzle game! I always love games where the main mechanic has a hindrance of some sort and this was a great example of it! Would love to see this developed further! Fantastic job with this one.

I love the graphics and the puzzles in this game! It fits the theme very well. Just one thing: I think in the last level, it should be clearer that you need to get the card key to open the door. You can just walk straight into the door without the card key, but it seems to abruptly turn off controls. But other than that, it's a really charming game and I can definitely see it being built into a bigger puzzle game!

Thanks! Yea we ran out of time to put in a graphic letting you know the door is locked.  But yea we plan to continue working on it! Adding more ring types too.

So I think there is a glitch on the 5th level? I walked to the exit and then disappeared. I couldn't come back, I tried hitting Q, nothing worked. Regardless, had a blast playing it, great idea. Fits the theme well! Would love to see some music, sound effects, and the ability to zoom in (was hard to really appreciate the detail). I think you got a fun little game on your hands, just gotta clean up some stuff! Would love to play a more expanded version, and hope to see it!

Developer

Thanks! Not sure about that bug, I'll have to check it out. If you mean the 6th level, you have to get the keycard first, but that's a little unclear due to the time constraints.
And yea we definitely plan on expanding it!
