Something about shooting enemies on Mario tiles felt wrong, but so right! I played this on stream and left feedback if you haven't had a chance to watch the playback. Good job.

This a pretty fun game. the art is simple but good and blasting away the enemies are fun
Interesting mashup of biomes, would be interesting to see some of the mechanics somehow change if you entered one area or another, or different enemies spawn (maybe if you lure a tough enemy from its original region to another, it becomes easier to defeat?)
I made something similar to this before, so I know how much work goes into this. Great job!
