What a unique location i think you are 100% in the theme.          Exelente job.

A was expecting to see some darker idea as we go down :)

Great Game

Interesting concept, I think I would have stuck with it for a little longer if it was less arduous to navigate around though (seems like with a mouse and pointer, could have naturally been a mouse navigation instead of a platformer!). Fun writing, and I do like how it leads you to go downwards, and also self reference partial hint/bad guesses.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Yeah I'm thinking about making the movement a lot faster, and I did consider the mouse navigation but to be honest I didn't really know how to lol. I might experiment with that a bit more as well, and see if I can make that work.

Really creative and unique location! I really enjoyed the writing and hunting down clues and riddles was a fun experience. Great job!

Please don't judge me for the capslk incident!! That moment made me switch back to my normal keyboard for streaming, clickety clacky noises be damned! We had a lot of fun with this, if you couldn't tell from the stream. I enjoy your writing, as evidenced by me wanting to read notes that weren't part of solving the code. Great work.

Developer(+1)

Haha that's all good! Thanks so much for your feedback, and it was really fun watching you two play it, glad you enjoyed the writing as well :)

Cool and interesting game, but it's quite slow.

Cool riddle game, and certainly a unique location. Only thing I didn't like was the movement, I think the player should have more gravity because it is a bit slow at the moment

Developer(+1)

Thanks, and yep I agree, I'll try to work on that! :)

Wow! This was such a fun, chill puzzle experience. I really liked the movement and discovery of who the person was. Funny and intriguing.

Amazing, but password having to be in bold makes no sense. Still haven't beaten it!

Developer

Thanks!

You are so so close to finding out the password, it doesn't need to be in bold, you are so close to figuring it out though.

Submitted(+1)

Really cool game, do you have to click on the link to find the password?

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! And nope you don't, you don't need to click on it to find the password, but you can click on it if you want to

Very interesting usage of the cursor mechanic to move around the notes, felt weird but oddly right.

An amazing game to experience, definitely a mystery to get out! Can't wait to see what more you make! Agreed, godot is hard at times...

So happy you went for trApped in the end, fits like a red red glove!

Excellent concept! Had me intrigued and hoping I can see more of this game. Awesome job!

Submitted(+2)

this game was amazing but there is a small bug where if you put any random sequence of numbers into the password it tells you that it is helpful to find the clue

Developer

Thank you so much, and thanks for pointing that out. I made a check to see if the player was inputting an unsolved code, so that would show, but I didn't realise that it did that for random numbers either! I'll see if I can fix that now, thanks!

Interesting to read all of the little notes

Hints and Instructions helped a lot! Cool and truly unique game

Submitted(+1)

oh this was great! id love to see more of this concept

Hahahahaha I loved this so much! Congrats on your first jam! Def one of the most unique locations! BOB AND DWAYNE SUCK! I wanted to explore more. Theres something so fun about going through someone else's reminders!

Congrats on your first game jam, it can be really fun and addictive. Navigation was nice and simple, even though my first instinct was to grab the mouse, because of the arrow icon. If you continue to develop this game I would love see more a phone look to the game, maybe phone icons at the bottom and time, power, etc at the top. A simple change like that could really add to the theme.

Developer

Thank you so much! I really loved your ideas, if I continue working on this I'll definitely implement those, thank you! That would really make it much more immersive.

Definitely a unique location, and I love the general puzzle/riddle idea! One small thing is the movement could be a little faster, but other than that really great!

Developer

Thanks! I totally agree, I definitely plan on increasing the speed a bit if I get through to round 2! :)

The concept for an APP as a setting is really cool. some of the notes are really funny and it was cool seeing some of the ones I suggested in there lol. the art style is also really nice and clean
