  • I think overall the art direction has potential, but there are some parts of it that feel out of place, like the "you lost" text - the colours and style don't really match the rest of the game. But I am interested in what else you could add to this to make it a larger experience!

Pretty cool game! reminded me of flappy bird or the helicopter game. This was tricky as you had to account for the momentum of each gravity change!

Thank you

Fun concept! Flappy bird, but you have to pay even more attention to momentum and plan a few moments ahead (though with the current level, it’s simple enough to flip flip keep pressing space while it’s in the middle, since all obstacles are on the top or bottom, but I get there’s plenty of room for there to be other obstacles in the future). The camera perspective definitely makes it a bit more interesting than a traditional side scroller of the same mechanic.

Developer

Thank you, yes indeed I am planning to do that

has potential as an addictive mobile game if you can get the artsyle more professional and more levels. Not sure it fits the theme of the Jam though :)

Developer

thank you, yes I am planning to turn it into a mobile game.
The level is unique, it is not an endless run, there is an end line, and you can reach it to complete the level.

The gravity switching is cool and smooth. The level is quite hard in the beginning. Also I have to say, it's not very unique level as the task was to create one.

I wouldn't say it's unique since I have seen many games like this. Also you have not added almost any graphics to the map either.

Like the gravity switching, as well as the abstract location! Would love to see more levels for this game

simple game but pretty fun.

Flipping the gravity is a really cool mechanic, I feel like trying to stay in the middle was quite tricky but manageable and maybe should have appeared a bit later on but it was fun to play and love the lighting and shadows in the game

Thank youu,

The base game is definitely there.  You can expend on what you have in so many different directions.  Since this is a challenge focused on art and visual design, I would like to see a more unique location.  But overall, your pieces are all in place.  Nice work!

Cool base mechanic of swapping gravity direction, an idea for adding a bit more depth to it might be having some obstacles floating in the center, to work around the player just hovering in the middle. Could definitely use some more detail or uniqueness on the level or art style though, as it's a bit straightforward.

Developer

Thank you, yes indeed, I am planning to add more level and more obstacles.
