I had a lot of fun with all the different options and the art looks so nice! I like the story behind the game as well.
I did notice that the dragons would fly in front of the panel in the top left corner, but that is very minor.
Thank you. Yeah, the coins and some other things also go over it, I didn't have enough time to sort out all the issues and this one was closer to the bottom of the list.
the sfx overpowered(louder than) the music so I would say maybe try mixing the audio a little better but other than that I liked it
Yeah, I totally agree with you. I had to rush the sounds and it's not one of my stronger areas so it didn't end up as good as I'd like.
What a clever take on the theme. I love the setup and it made me want to try all the different locations and scenarios for them. Really smart use of the limitation to make something incredibly fun that happened to revolve around the customization of a child's imagination.
I like that the gun and laser had unique attributes and weren't just sprite swaps. I love the attention to detail in things like the space level where I could jump way higher.
An excellent entry all around. One technical issue I noticed, nothing game breaking, just a little awkward. Is that the laser and the gun were really jittery when I was moving around. I guess that they're trying to move to a certain position relative to the player, but maybe your code order is a little out of place so it causes the constant jittering when moving. Not a big deal at all, just wasn't sure if you'd seen it.
Overall, I loved this entry. Great work.
Thank you, the imagination angle seemed to fit pretty well, I'm glad I was able to get it all done in time.
I wanted to do a few more varied things, but landed on the gun and laser but I didn't want them end too similar.
Aye, thanks for mentioning the weapons vibrating issue, I left if for the end and didn't have enough time to get around to it. It's my first time using the Phaser3 framework so I'm sure I'm doing it (and many other things), the wrong way.
My congratulations. Not only was this so well grounded on the idea of the child's imagination, but it offered rich gameplay with the extra weapon selection, visual changes and task selection!
Well done!
My favourite is the alien design. Great work implementing past music and art for this project! Love it!
Thank you, the aliens are also my favorite of the enemies.
You get extra respect points now!
This is awesome! You basically built a game generator :) Great work
Thank you! I guess it ended up pretty close to that.
This is awesome, really fun choose your own game with great options, and lovely pixel art too. Love it!
Thank you so much for playing!
This was so fun! I really liked trying all the different options. My favorite level was space because of the low gravity, and I liked playing as the robot with the laser. My favorite was the rescue mission :)
Thank you for playing! The space level was a fun one to make and play test. And the rescue game was my favorite as well, I tried to make the doggo cute. The robot was also my favorite character to make and play as well.
I can tell a lot went into making this. Your game is really cool, love how big of an effect each customisation has to the gameplay and your artwork is fantastic
Yeah, I bit off a lot with this one, I was lucky I cut as much as I did s so that I had enough time to get it done. Though I didn't have much time to finese things. Thank you for playing and commenting.
Really awesome! I like that all the customizations are not just visual but also change the gameplay!
The best submission I have played so far!
Thank you! I tried to make the choices varied and had a lot of other ideas, but had to trim them back something I had time to complete in a week. Thanks for playing.
