Great stream, and thanks for playing!

I made the game with Unreal Engine which is why it looks strange.

Nice submission. I liked the idea of controlling 3 characters and watching their animations  play. That's a really tough mechanic and def you give props for doing it.

Thanks and thanks for playing!

Interesting concept of coordinating three people. I like these types of puzzle games of trying to figure things out by using your past runs. I did run into an issue though that sometimes the commands don't quite match on each loop.

Developer (1 edit)

Yeah, that's because of inconsistent framerate, I wish I knew a way to fix it.

I really like this puzzle platformer! It took me a few minutes to figure out how the mechanics worked properly and once I did it was really fun to play around with the different characters to figure out how to have each of them complete the level. The music was quite fun albeit a tiny bit short of a loop to listen to for 20-30 mins and I really enjoyed the cartoonish graphics. Really clever take on the theme as well, and well executed in general.

Great job!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you for taking the time to play it.

Great puzzle concept! Kinda reminds me of a Flash game from back in the day where you play as an overworked Japanese Employee whose goal it was to kill himself...anyhow, the puzzle design in your game is really clever, and the visuals and music are great overall. Good stuff!

Main feedback that I have is to provide a restart option in the middle of the level (such as a pause menu) as it is difficult to recover when you made mistakes in choosing which character to revive as first and whatnot.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks! I've never played that Flash  game but I'll take your word for it :)

There is a way to restart the level by pressing space and then R, but the text is easy to miss.

Ah ok, my bad, I must have missed that. Either way, twas a fun game!

FYI I recalled the name of that Flash Game: it's called Karoshi: Suicide Salary Man. The idea behind that is that you're a Japanese worker who has been overworked and you want to kill yourself, so the game is basically these whacky puzzles where you have your character kill himself in the most absurd ways. Here is the link: https://armorgames.com/play/2407/karoshi-suicide-salaryman

I'm not sure if it's in the link I pasted, or if it was another version: there are some levels where you have multiple clones of your character and you have to ensure they all die. That's what your game reminded me of specifically.

For the record: I don't condone suicide or any kind of self-harm.

Cool concept matches the theme well but I feel like it could have used some more instructions in game. Also having the game keep playing after your current character dies might be nice, allowing maybe 5 seconds for the other 2 to try and make it to the end, or skip if you don't want to wait. But yeh nice job, should be proud!

Developer(+1)

I agree with both your points, instructions are often my down fall, because I forget that other people don't know what I know and I almost added the delay after dying but I ran out of time.

Thanks for the compliment and the feedback!

Generally good the characters feel a bit sluggish though.

Developer

Thanks!

Yeah, I wish I had increased their speed.
