Great art, although the mechanics and overall gameplay could do with some polishing.
Agreed, the last two hours before jam closed I brought myself to the most basic enemy I could and make it so that lamps light up if the player goes near.
Well, I read other comments, so I'm not going to ask the same things again. I really liked the art of the game! Those menus look really cool. Can you tell me what is the idea that you had planed for this?
Wanted to make it so that the player has to go through each level twice the second version being harder and more abstract, didnt havve the time to do more levels or implement the theme.

nice platformer, i like the visuals a lot, tough i don't see the duality theme, and it lacks music, also i found three bugs : mushroom enemies rotate around themselves, when you fall you don't restart the game, and the pause menu wasn't centered,
anways i'm well aware you didn't have much time to prepare, me neither, good game
Thanks,
I don't know if you are using a laptop but the menu is centered on my screen.
The game works well, and the visuals are good.
it would be nice if the player was propelled upwards when stomping on enemies
When you pause the game and press continue, A horrible sounds begins to play.
also, I could't find a Win Condition.
Overall, good job for a game made in just 3 hours.
feel free to check out my game :D
You know why the game looks so empty is because when I looked how much time I had left to work on it it was 2 hours ..
I added enemies really fast, made them die like goombas and gave the player a respawn.
Lastly the win condition could not be added due to 2 minutes left for making the page and epxortin
I got to play your game, first off, the game looked good, when the scenes where lit up, most of the time on the dark, it didn't really looked all that good. the mushroom enemy kept glitching big time, i played the game 3 times, and he always kept glitching through walls, or in air. then the game just suddenly ends, i fall off a cliff and that it, at first i though i needed to jump, but when i tried again, nothing...
the best thing about this game was the art, i really loved it, great job on it
Well the big hole part comes from the fact that in the time of 7 days I worked on the game about 3 hours.
Thanks for the Feedback, tho the Art was from an Assetpack I just coded the player and enemies
Was just going to comment the same things, your reply covered me,
well done for making such a nice game in only 3 hours! That's is fantastic! I do not know how to do half the stuff you showed here! (could I ask if you have any tutorials to share? How did you made the lamps light up?)
Since I am also using Godot and new to this, I hope you dont mind me sharing this clip that helped me export my games in HTML5, so more people can play them instead of downloading them each time. Really helps me at jams.
hope it helps!Hey, the Lighting System is the one GameEndeavor created.
I am just using a area2d with a signal and then do if body.name == "Player":
i cannot run the game on linux mint 20, any idea ?
The game exports into Linux/X11 don't know what that means never had Linux before.
what are you using ? unity, godot ... etc ?
Godot
