Great result for a such short time ! Sound/graphic are simple but do the job. The controls are intuitive and the theme/geometricness are nicely used.

Maybe it lacks a bit of balancing (the tower must be cheaper or the enemy must give more money) because can't place so many towers and it makes the game a bit annoying

Developer

Thanks! I agree that the game is a little unbalanced; maybe I will work on that after the jam

Really fun! The design reminds me of an old Mario version ;)

Developer

Thanks! Not sure what Mario game your referring to, but I am intrigued

Quite fun, although making enough money to place towers takes a while.

Developer

Thanks! Your right though, the entire thing is pretty unbalanced

I love this game a lot! It's a really fun tower defense game that wears a lot of Bloons inspiration on its sleeves, while  putting it's own spin on it - I like how the bomb tower isn't just a bomb shooter, but lays delayed bombs, for instance! The currency being pounds is also really funny to me, for some reason.

Honestly the only thing I felt was lacking was an upgrade system, which you've already thought of but couldn't implement. Maybe a boss fight of some kind to end a run, maybe some sort of platonic solid?

Overall, it's a fantastic game, and I'd love to see it expanded if you feel like pursuing it!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I love your idea for a boss fight! I could totally see myself implementing that :)

Great Game! Unique Game Idea!

I didn't find any bugs. Menus were a little confusing but once I got the hang of it I was flowing.

Very Polished and Great Job!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad that no one has found any bugs so far

Good Job! Everything is really nice! No bugs not really any issues. Just that the menus were a little confusing. It would be nice to see which side is harder and gives more money. Also It would of been nice to see the prices. But other than that everything was really nice.

Really good Job!

Developer

Thank You! General opinion seems to be that the UI needs improvement. I like that idea of showing how much money you can earn from each side

Good job!  This is the only tower defense game I've seen so far.  I like how you give information on the spacing of the enemies.

Thanks!

okay honestly- this game is really really fun! I didnt find any bugs and overall the game was great! the speeding up feature was really nice and the music was relaxing! one thing that would've been nice would be prices next to the options to help with strategy and perhaps making a more clear "hard" and "easy" one would've been good as the way its set up means you have to look through all of it, and because I have a short attention span it means that I get slightly bored. but perhaps that's just me :/ overall this game was awesome and I really enjoyed it!

Developer

Thank You! I did intend to show the prices next to the buttons, but I forgot lol. Also good idea with waves; would make a lot of sense to make a harder and easier one as opposed to having two completely random ones.

Nice tower-defense game!

First of all, I'm glad that I have seen a tower-defense game in the jam! I liked what you wanted to achieve with this game, but as a tower-defense game, I'd like to be able to create more strategies. At the current phase of the game, there isn't much strategy going on. Still, I think you have originally implemented the theme and created a solid entry!

Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the kind words! I did want to create an upgrade system, but let's just say 3 days was not nearly long enough, at least for me.

Lots of fun! I didn't get too far, but it's a great tower defense game. I love that you included a speed-up button too. I would say that defenses seem quite expensive for the amount of money you get.

Great job :)

Developer

Thanks! In retrospect, I should've balanced the towers a little better, but I was kind of short time. It is what it is at this point

This game is really fun! The Pentagons are a bit too tough for the amount of money you earn, but the game is still incredibly fun.

It reminds me of Balloons tower defense, which is awesome!

Developer

Thanks! And I suppose we did take some inspiration from Bloons

The game is much more complex then it needs to be. The UI could be simplified and the tutorial both made shorter and more effective. The player doesn't need to know every bit of information, such as how far apart are enemies placed.

You could instead just say: [ 14 triangles and 2 circles VS  5 squares, 7 triangles and 2 circles ] That'd be much more effective than what you're currently doing.

Unfortunately these factors kinda kill an otherwise pretty cool game. If I don't understand the game I can't strategize and enjoy it. With a bit of work you could make this so much better, as it does  have potential.

Thank you for the honest feedback. And your completely right, the game  should've been simplified, and the explanations could have been better
