This was a really atmospheric game that hits a lot of notes. I couldn't get the controls to work as we'd like and felt unmotivated to fulfil the objectives because of this. The music and dreary, grim mood really enhanced this feeling. All that said, the graphics, mood and short to-the-point text all add up to make this a really hard hitting experience. I noticed that this was one-person who made it, so well done to you for making it in a week!

I thought this was a great little game, it was simple and the art style, use of colour and music did a great job of keeping it on theme. The minimalistic style of the figure was cool too tbh. It was also great that the simple-style of the puzzles were actually quite difficult, because it's a good metaphor for depression, so all in all, a really great job!

My god… I felt the heaviness of get up in the morning, thinking to not have reasons to going on etc, with “just” four well done mini-games.
Nothing to say, until now this is best game I’ve played in this jam.
Minigame shower went exactly from real life lol :) Don't mean to devaluate game atmosphere which is imho not bad but i really hate qte and reaction-based things so i just can't have fun from the game

I liked this! I can only manage 2 out of 3 tasks a time, but it says 69% and I still leave the house so I call that a win (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Reasons is a game about getting up in the morning with heavy depression
you can complete tasks with mini games, but be warned these mini games are not easy, you can give yourself up to 3 Reasons to help you with your tasks so if it feels too hard remember this!
Controls are:
WASD for movement
F for interact
A & D for certain mini games
