Hey there, I played through some of your game in this video at - 22:40
Had a bit of trouble, so I couldn't get too far, but hopefully it's still useful to see how some people will play your game. Thanks for playing! We realize that our controls need some tuning and yep, that's pivotal in a platformer, moreso in the case of a first person game. Hopefully we'll address this in an incoming patch and our game will run smoother and with a clearer goal.
Thanks!
After I beat the second level the text bugged out and had all the sense visible at once, so I couldn't tell what sense I was using unless it was sight. Even with that I was able to solve the next level, because it kinda just came down to switching sense until one works, it's not much of a puzzle. The game might get more interesting later on, but I think this is a tough concept to design challenging/interesting puzzles around
Yeah, that's a known bug; appeared while fixing other things last minute so it was impossible to look for a solution on time. As far as I know, Rodri and Isaac, our programmers, already fixed it in a release that might come in the following days.
Thanks for playing!
Got stuck on the second "hear" level. Couldn't really locate were the saws or whatever it was are, even with headphones on. Seemed like it's just a straight line you can't go through there.
First Person platforming should be illegal! You should give a bit more air control. Good visual, keep it up. Adjust the sounds level some are way too loud.
Yep, we've got to tune both the "slipperyness" of our player and the overall sound of the HEAR levels; some players are telling us that is way too loud and some that they can´t almost hear them. Thanks for playing!
Great game. Not too many First Person Games. I love puzzle games like this one.
Graphics and music are brilliant!
Please consider playing mine:

Had problems with keyboard/mouse control (no input), had to use the controller. Besides that (not the focus of the jam), great art and visuals, great insight!
While controller is a must to play through some levels, the first set of levels should be playable with keyboard and mouse. We'll check that out.
Thanks for the heads up and compliments!
Didn't get far, but definitely an interesting concept. Was a little counter-intuitive lining up the cursor with the circles in the look part (a reticule might help).
Only got as far as listen 2; was a bit hard to guess what I was intended to do when I seemed to fail regardless of the sound (though I might just have gotten the wrong idea about things there).
As a note: I'm using a Playstation controller but couldn't get it to connect alone; and if I used DS4 Windows it just sent me spinning in circles. Is it set to detect PS controllers?
Honestly I like the visuals and idea behind the game, just a pity I can't get my PC to co-oporate with the controller ^^;
Our programmers might correct me if I'm wrong but I guess the only pad we got to test was a XBox wireless controller. Maybe they behave differently on the coding side? I'll ask them to see if we can patch that on our next release.
Thanks for playing!
Intriguing but somehow not convinced : I felt lost and some bugs made it unclear what to do next (overlapping text ; I saw you reported it).
Very nice atmosphere though, I would have loved to see more. Maybe in a fixed version if you plan one?
Good job guys!
Rusted Spanish but: no sé que añadir, pero quería terminar mi mensaje en Español.
Yes, we plan on adding some cut content and polishing most of whats's there once the voting period ends. We are happy with were the project was headed, and with a little push I'm confident we can achieve a well rounded experiment.
Thanks for playing and commenting!
PD: That's some good spanish man, bastante mejor que mi inglés xD
The game booted okay for me, but I was unable to move from my starting position. Is this a known bug? (I have tried rebooting at all graphical settings and both in and out of windowed mode)
That reminds me that having a controller plugged-in disables all keyboard controls. Could that be the case? :)
Very unique. Graphics are pretty good. I felt lost a few times. I still don't understand the smell sense mechanic. The hear sense also was a bit difficult. I know it kinda tells you where the danger is but still it isn't so clear. The controls need some work. There is also a problem with the movment smoothness. It is laggy. It's probably because you used rigidbody based controller. It gets updated only 50 times per second so when the camera is attached to it and you have for example 100+ fps you can see it clearly. Hope that helps you improve your games in the future. You've done great work! I really like this idea. And big plus for controller support and use of it's features.
YES to everything and thanks for the feedback!
the art and the design of the game is absolutely fantastic .. i really love it
Thank you! Both Enrique and Jesús did a superb job in such a narrow timeframe. Thanks for playing!
They really did a fantastic job indeed .. looking forward for future games :)
The game looks really beautiful. I stopped at the feel level since I didn't know what to do (probably bcz I have no controller with feedback). The voices in the Hear mode are low compared to the losing sound so whenever I fell or was sent backwards, I felt my ears being pierced. Also, I still don't understand the smell mode but I won that level anyway. Overall, It is a nice idea with very good execution.
I KNOW, I know... is a bit silly that while any sense but HEARING is activated, the sounds get increasingly louder and louder. That was a last minute bug and I hate it! x)
But, as far as I know, only based on people commenting, you're the one that I know who got further in the game. Congrats! ;)
I am a big fan of this one. I had a similar idea at the beginning but i did not know how to implement the senses visually. You found an awesome way! Very impressive!
I would love to continue working on how to represent in an abstract way the rest of the senses, which has always been problematic in videogames (obviously, because we cannot smell or taste anything in a virtual world). I was somehow attracted by the idea of representing these senses each one in its unique way... but 48 hours is not enough time to find a genious solution for each one. I tried, and I'm glad you liked it, Leifgood. ;)
This game is super trippy!
I have never played something like this before and I'd honestly play this forever!
Please let me know if you make this into a full game!

Hey, we made a GMTK game too. Check it out!
We'll probably fix all the issues and make a few more levels with sense combinations for the puzzles. At least, I would love to. I'm checking your game right now. ;)
Really interesting idea ! I'm stuck at the level 4, don't understand what killed me.
Tips for level 2 : look at the circle (they might not really match) then look up, it should work. It helps me to pass this level.
Yeah, raycast triggers should have been a bit bigger to prevent this problem. Sorry!
In level 4 there are some invisible traps that you can only hear while in HEAR mode. I know there is a bug which shows all the "Current sense" text on top of the screen overlapping and that makes it more difficult. HEAR is the sense right after LOOK (In the keyboard), X button on 360/One or Square in PS4. ;)
Hey, kinda late reply but I finally found out about this contest and amazing submissions!
On the same note, I'm also stuck at level 4. I don't know why, but for me the 3d audio doesn't quite work. I somehow got past the long corridor, but I am stuck at the next section. I don't understand how to pass the first line on the floor. I tried every angle possible (through the center, left, right etc), up on the nearby ledges, when the sound was on and off, but I always die.
Is there something I didn't figure out? I'd so much love to play the next 2 senses...
One sence at a time is a really good idea! Didn't have the chance to really use other senses than "look" though.
The original idea was to have levels introducing the potential of every sense when activated and then mixing them to create more interesting puzzles, but we ran out of time so we could only focus on one sense levels (Except for level 4, which mixes HEAR with LOOK).
Current levels are:
Level 1: LOOK
Level 2: LOOK
Level 3: HEAR
Level 4: HEAR + LOOK
Level 5: SMELL
Level 6: TOUCH
I had to prioritize making specific levels for every sense or most of the coders work would have been wasted.
THANK YOU for playing, Monetai!
Couldn't get past the second level :/ I really liked the concept though, felt very The Witness-y
Hey, thank you for playing! Did you manage to find out that the solution was aligning the the two groups of circles in this level? Maybe you missed a platform or something, I don't know... :(
Yeah, I figured it was along those lines and I tried 4 or 5 times (and even soft-locked once), and couldn't seem to get them to line up properly. Something felt super weird about the jump physics too, I wasn't sure if it was my machine, or what. I might revisit it, because the screenshots look awesome and I want to see the rest.
