Damn, this really is a great game! Could be included as is in a party game. Espcially if you would also have a local multiplayer option! Really great fun, polished experience! Hats off to you!

Very great game! Is very challenging, and is very polished for a game jam game! Good job you guys, this game is spectacular, professional standard! Amazing that you got this done in 48 hours, a round of applause for you!

If you haven't yet, I would really appreciate it if you check out our game too!

Thanks for the praise! Though this was our first GMTK Jam, we've been doing gamedev with each other for a long time, and have some private jam experience, so I think that really helped us get a good-looking end result.

I did get a chance to check out your game, and I really love it!

Very fun idea! I also loved the art, music and effects, very fun experience. The only downside was that taking pictures felt a little confusing at first and a little too hard when I finally understood it :)

That was a short and very sweet game, if you worked on it you could potentially add more levels and such to add some diversification.

The 5/5 points thing, I read your comment to CerosWare and think that if you implemented some ratings based on where you were it would make that portion better as well.

P.S love the reference to GMTK on the paper XD

I think I've got 5/5 points regardless if she was on frame or not. Still, GREAT concept. And as someone who is trying to make a professional beat 'em up game, I must say that was inspiring and super creative!

Thanks for checking the game out and for the kind words! Sadly, yeah,  we ran out of time and weren't able to get scaling scores to work lol So right now, if you take the shot, you get 5/5 and if the Paparazzi take the shot or if she leaves without anyone taking a shot you get 0/5. We were close to having it give a 1-5 based on how close you were to having her in frame, but just ran out of time in the end.

We'll definitely check your game out!

Very neat game jam concept. I can imagine a couple different interesting ways the game could be expanded, like:

- different player characters with different special abilities

- different levels with different terrain / enemy challenges

- different celebs to photograph with different behaviors on the red carpet

Overall it is fun. My only complaint is that the punching sound seemed to behave a tad inconsistently; sometimes it would seem to not always fire when a punch connected.

The gameplay feels really nice and I like the art and music! :) Would be really fun as a minigame with friends!

Thanks! We're hoping to expand it some to see what it would be like with multiplayer :D
