Impressive Graphics and very stylish menu. The gameplay felt a bit unfair though, the timing was quiet difficult. Also it would be cool to restart directly in the game scene. I always had to restart in the menu and then again choose a side. But besides that: very polished and impressive considering this was made during 48 hours :)
This game looks and sounds great! I'm very impressed by how you managed to put it together in 48h. The gameplay could use some work, though. Perhaps some kind of counter mechanic, a life meter, or something else to make the fights go on for a little longer.

There's a lot of work in this game, I like the art of the UI , 3d models of the characters and of course the music. However , I think mechanics could be more complex or fight an stronger enemy after defeating the first one and so on. Nice work!!
It's a very pretty game, with interesting aesthetics. I like the change of instruments depending on which character you choose.
The game itself isn't very funny tho, mostly because of the slow animations. A fighting game requires fast and responsive commands. A great reference for this kind of game is Punch Out! Great job nonetheless. Cheers.

I would love if the characters had more types of attacks for you to predict/react, but that would probably go against the jam’s theme.

Cool artstyle and idea but i feel like it misses something. Perhaps some more depth to the combat system (of course there is so much one can do in 48 hours but maybe for the future) as it feels too simple right now. There are no counters and the game seems a bit unresponsive. I would suggest faster animations as these current animations make it look like a Matrix movie.
Nice sounds and models though, the game seems polished so props for that!

These are some pretty good ideas and we can implement then for sure in the future. Our combat system is really simple indeed, but we are gathering lots of ideas from you guys so we can make this a fully enjoyable experience for everyone! Seems like a lot of work for only 48 hours. As a weabo, I obviously chose the samurai just for the saka of being edgy (thx for that experience). Overall, the game seems polished, but it lack content. After a few matches you don't have stuff to do. Also for my maste, it was a poor choice to use japanse like font, its quite unreadable and rather iritates than fulfill. Good job guys, keep going.

I see. The guy below this comment gave some ideas on how to add some spice to the fighting mechanic and I believe that could help add more depth to the gameplay.
About the font I agree with you that there are some places that it gets to read and it's quite annoying. We'll be more careful about it on our next projects.

Thanks for the feedback! The feature of breaking the defense of you opponent was discussed, but ultimately I wasn't able to deliver Also we talked about making a little "stamina" bar that would drain when you raise your defense, but I thought it would be fine if we just leave it as it is (totally my fault hahaha). Now I have to agree with you, we could have added some spice to the fighting mechanics. I'll be more cautious about it next time I do something like that. Thanks a lot!

Really clever control scheme, the models and animations look super nice. Lovely for a 48 hours jam!
I was to lazy to download the game but I do not regret it now. The way you can use a sword and a shield with only one key is amazing.
