Fun little game! Sadly I couldn't hear any sounds or music, even though my volume was up... :\ Also for some reason the guy would only grapple when I was standing on the ground, so I wasn't able to complete the game, sorry.... Otherwise I like the swinging mechanic, and I think that if some bugs could be fixed and you continued to work on it, this could be a great game :) But for 48 hours this is really cool, good job! :D

Also thanks for playing my game as well :)

Cheers to the Music Composer. Great Work

Developer

Totally right. The music fits the game pretty well I think :D

Liked swinging and jumping round. Really liked the end to the first level. Would have been good to only reset the current level when dying.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback :)

Probably we will add an option to enable something like checkpoints in the future.

That swinging mechanic sure does feel nice.   I liked that you were encouraged to jump and THEN grapple which really makes it a little more tense. I do wish there were checkpoints though.

It actually took me a little while to figure out that there was a rope, but swinging around was pretty fun. I just wish when you died, it didn't reset to the very beginning of the game

Developer

Thanks for your feedback :)

The controls will be explained in the game soon. Maybe we will also add an option to start from the beginning of the level, in which you "died."

Cute little game! It took me quite a while to realize how to use the rope! haha :) Enjoyed it! Rated!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback :)

I will add some instructions to the game to make it easier to understand the controls soon.

:D Good job!

Developer

Thanks :D

I know the game is a little bit buggy at the moment, but we will fix this :)

I like the idea of having to use the whip to swing faster than you can walk so that you can get through levels quicker.  Though I wish when you died you only restarted the level you're on rather than the whole game since it does take a while (a minute) to beat the first level again.

Developer

Hey jermrellum. Thanks for your feedback! We thought the idea of restarting the whole game instead of just the level would fit the jam's motto pretty well, because then you have actually just one try to complete the game.
