Couldn`t agree more with other users. Your game may have a familiar idea. But the way you executed it, makes the game stand out with quality.
The idea itself is quite common, but the way you executed it was top-tiers. Controls feel great, helpful visual feedbacks are everywhere, and the game is addictive as hell.
Knowing you did the game in 16 hours, I can't help but wonder what you'd have come up with in 48 hours. XD
Very nicely polished game!
Since there is a way to lose 10 seconds it would be nice if there was a way to gain time too. Maybe I just suck and never found out how to gain time. There could be something like if you hit 5 with one shot you gain 10 seconds. That would make trying to set up huge bounces more enticing and allow very skilled players to get really high scores by getting more time.
Amazing...so many one bullet games in this jam but this one has a sweet animation and a ricotchet bonus!!! Plus the bonus makes your ball faster allowing for more bonus! Great job. Add a "DOUBLE!!!" and "TRIIIIIPLEEEEEE!!!!!!" "QUQUQUQUQUAAAD" when you get the bonus and make it a mobile game!
The bouncing bullet is brilliant! So many good design choices. The bounce, upgrading the bullet on a combo, time is also your health. One of my favorite entries!
I gotta say though, one shot is a lot more relevant than one minute to your game, the bouncing bullet is the core mechanic here, you're mis-selling your game a little

You are right about the title! I regret naming it that too. I would change it but the title is embedded in the game (which I cannot change now.. hehe) But I plan to work on the title and art a lot more, especially if I could get a nice polished version running.

Bouncing and vfx is so good. Mb I would like to player's movement be a little bit smoothly, but overall it is fine.

Argh, firing that bullet feels so good! Bouncing it off multiple enemies then sweeping in to grab it before it stops is awesome. Great job here!

If there was a higher score tab I could go on playing for hours, simple, with clever mechanics, and the minimalistic graphics allow you to read well the possible bounces.

That was a really cool game! It took me about half the game to figure out a comfortable way to use the keyboard (Left hand on the arrow keys and right on the trackpad is not it LOL), but once I figured it out I had a lot of fun!

nice one! Played a few iterations of this same game idea, but your execution is the best so far.
The ball feels very bouncy due to the stretching and easing in the movement. The art style is very elegant. very polished. loved to play this game. you definetly deserve more ratings! :)

Loved it!! Awesome Idea... good music... nice aesthetics... only thing i find it missing is that only if you could add teleportation mechanics with right click to the bullet position itself... Also, you can try lerp to add curve motion of enemies advancing towards players... Also, rather than keyboard input...mouse based character follow movement will make it simple fast paced mouse based game.. Rated! Much respect

Great game with solid gameplay . I love the idea to mix the health bar with the time ,It makes the game really nearvous .

Like the art style and the juicy effects in it.
I think the enmey should be more aggressive. They are now moving slow and turning extremely slow. I know that might be ensure that the player can pick up the bullet he throw. But low pace is toxic to a top-down shotter I think.
I checked another one-bullet top-down shotter earlier, he add teleport to the bullet to slove this design problem. I think that is a good solution. Maybe you should check this out.

I disagree about the enemies. This game is more about getting your combos off than combat. Enemies chasing directly after you would cause them to bunch up and do the combos for you. And adding automatic return or teleporting to the bullet would fundamentally change the game. You lose out on the depth of trying to position the bounce just right to get the quick return. Also, enemies can get in the way of you and you walking back to your bullet, so there's that.
Solid input Darn. My game does need a lot of tweaking and balancing to get it to feel just right. But you are correct that it is about combos vs combat. I've been working on it and the combos are a little easier to pull off and infinitely more satisfying. I've added some variety to the enemies too. Maybe when it's ready I could send you a playtest version for you to critique? Cheers!
