This is a silly, spammy popularity contest and I think it's fun to embrace it haha! As long as we remain friendly and reciprocal.

Our game is Einnsámr: The Lone Warrior, a game about preserving your soul in a hostile world. We'd love it if you tried the game out :) https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/463168?after=20#post-87109

**I have like all afternoon/evening to play and rate entries, so chances are if you rate our game and leave a comment on our page with a link to your game, I'll play/rate it!**

Maybe so. Still, it's nice to have people look at (or more importantly, play some of) your game, isn't it? ;)

I mean, that's why we make these games in the first place.

Your game is really fun! I finished all the puzzles and rated the game. The only comment I have is that I would have really appreciate a few tutorial levels. Also, only after the last puzzle I figured out you could control the pieces off of the board. It would be cool if you had a puzzle that relied on that mechanic to solve it. Good job though!

I made a little space game where you control a 🛸 that runs on its backup generator. The generator can only power one system at a time, and has to be controlled manually. I only had time to implement two subsystems, but I think it's a good base and there's potential for a fun lil puzzle game in there. I would really like to keep working on it, so any feedback is really appreciated!

Oh, we'd like to trade some ratings as well!

Our game is you are the only One, and we're about to leave some ratings on every game in this thread!!

Awesome, checking your game out now!

Our game is a two player RTS game where each player only has one unit. You can see a rough video of us playing it down here:

There are some more detailed info in the game page, check it out!

This game looks goofy and manic, I like it! I'm sure it's hard to get ratings as a 2p game, I just went and rated it based on the YouTube video of it.

Check out our game Einnsámr too! https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/463168

This tricky, single-level game will put your platforming abilities to the test. What's waiting for you in the dark? Only One way to find out. Be Impulsive and take a leap of faith.  Good luck, and thank you for playing.  Only One Sprite was used to make Only One Level, and you get Only One Pulse to help you out

Oh woooow only one sprite?! I love it, totally trying this one out!

Hey! My team and I overscoped for the jam, but I'm super proud of it and it would mean a lot if you were able to take the time to give it a play and rate the game!

MICROVANIA - A One Screen Mini-Metroidvania with a Twist!
https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/462198
And a few notes to help you play it! (The Game Jam build has a few bugs and quality of life issues)

  • It works with Keyboard OR Gamepad
  • You can view the controls in the menu (Esc or Start)
  • The Player has 3x Health but will be instantly killed by Dragon Fire
  • If you die twice, you should close and reopen the game (it breaks more and more with each death)
  • There are two Winning Endings (You Kill the Dragon, or You Give the Dragon What it's Looking for!)
  • There are 5 secret Gems hidden throughout the game if you can't find the last one, keep looking!

I do agree with this - it's all a bit spammy, which I've never liked. BUT everyone seems really friendly and everybody is sharing reviews/ratings/feedback so, it's been a completely positive experience so far! Maybe I'm coming around to the spammy life?!

Here is my game: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/461900 - if you play and rate it, make sure to leave a comment and I'll hop over and give you some feedback on your game too!

Just tried out your game, really smooth. My thoughts are in the comment on that page :)

If you're still trying out games, i'd love if you could test out mine as well!
