This is incredible. Great concept and could easily see how you'd expand it by adding more cards/different types of enemies. Really excellent.

Thank you so much!

This was super fun! I loved the concept and the style!

It was somewhat annoying to have to use the cards once all the enemies were dead, however. There were plenty of times when I had to take multiple turns just to walk to an undefended ladder.

Developer

Thanks for playing, and for pointing this out! We really didn't think about what would happen once all the enemies died, I was kinda just hoping that the levels were small enough, thank so much for the feedback!

Wow! Great game and presentation! The bunny is super cute.

I only gave it 4 stars and not 5 because of two problems:
I feel like there is no reason to keep movement cards since you pretty much always get more every time. Also I never managed to run out of carrots on a given turn, maybe you could have lowered that number. Overall I thought it was too easy, but a very very impressive game for just 2 days! I hope you get into the top 100.

Thank you so much for playing! Yeah, we were right up at the time limit. Level design and balance was the last thing we got to, and it shows :D

A really nice prototype! I can see dungeon crawling with movement and actions on resource-costing cards working really well in a rogue like.

It might be nice to have enemies do more actions as you're doing them too (turn time bar), where you can see that enemies will act in [2 carrots].

Icons could've been colored to make them easier to see.

Cool concept and would play a full game like this :)

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback! I was imagining the exact same thing! If at the bare-bones it works, I can only imagine what could be done with more complexity

I can totally see this being developed further into a more fully fledged game. Great idea and execution.

Developer

YESSS  I really want to put in a deck building system where you choose the cards in your deck and so much more.

Pretty cool game! The idea is interesting although a bit tiresome to click each action to use it afterwards only to then press space bar to end your turn and repeat the process. Also is a bit off theme in my opinion but it is a nice try to a different approach to the theme ;) good job :D

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah, there's a bunch of quality of life stuff that we just didn't get to put in T_T

This was a blast. I liked the idea of doing turn based card game and board game mix. Not the most original, a thing used in a lot of irl board games. But this was really cool to see implemented in the digital space

Developer

Thanks for stopping buy and giving this game a play! I'm glad you found it a blast 8)
