It was fun playing your game! I like the gameplay. If you like this idea, keep working on it! Awesome job submitting a fun game to this jam and I hope you improve your game making skills. If you have time, please check out my game :D

Developer

Thanks!
I have been thinking about whether I should keep working on this game.
I’ll definitely check out your game. :D

This game "sucked". Heh I jest with you. The stealth part was pretty fun and it was pretty funny how you could still see the character just hiding behind the tree as the guards just walk past you. Some real metal gear vibes right there. Wonderful job!

Developer

Thanks! I was surprised when I see the first sentence. XD

The part of the character hiding in front of a knight is a funny idea though it works! The concept is nice, I feel like it can be polished adding something to feel the progression (like a score or levels).

Good work!

This was kinda cute, and I do like the way the player moves around. The various styles and resolutions of the art assets make it look a bit off-putting, but I don't really have any complaints other than that. Well done for submitting, and good luck with future projects

Developer

Yeah, I don’t have the skill to draw that many art assets. So some of them aren’t even mine. Definitely need to practice drawing for next time. XD

This is a cool and fun concept. Like some other people commented, I would have liked a slower introduction to the gameplay. Maybe a small area of the town that only has villagers to eat, then unlock the rest of the level with a couple knights, then more etc. good concept though!
Here's the game I worked on if you wanted to check it out, thanks! https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/696287#post-1639104

Developer

Thanks. I already rated your game :D

I really liked the two "modes" of planning your strike and hiding. I wish the game ramped up in difficulty a little slower? Like, more townspeople initially and then, as you've consumed more and more people, more guards showing up.

Some form of interaction during the hiding phase would be good too, if you build this out further. Not sure what, but maybe some way of distracting the guards?

Developer

For some reason I didn’t think of deceased knight’s number. XD

About the “interaction during the hiding phase”. I didn’t pay enough Stealth game to know what else could be made.

Thanks, and yes it is too hard. XD
