Parent Simulator 2.0!
I have to admit, you really did go out of control with this one!
Reading the comments I have to congratulate you on the pixel art and your efforts! The concept was great, I laughed a couple of times when I finally reached the second panel, and then... SWITCH! OOps! You wanted to jump? Well now you just dropped your other player.
As a fellow Godot user, how did you program the change of control from one character to the other?
Love the sprites! Well done!
thank you very much, my sister was happy that you liked her sprites, and it was kinda simple, its a timer that is connected to the two character, when timeout happens it switchs a bool statement that locks the func getInput of one and activates the other.
Damn this is harder that I expected, how do you get the remaining character to reach the door in the first level? The first only reached by standing in the head of the remaining one. I liked the idea you can always identify them by jumping, I would extend a little the swapping time, that way would be a little more accessible, keep it up.
Oh never mind I could reach the door, they just fall to fast.
I was really confused. I didn't know who I was controlling, I didn't understand that the players were on a timer, and I could see the console spilling out errors.
Hello! thanks for the comment, sorry for the mistakes. we started making small games a little while ago and we are trying to improve
The game looks fun, but I couldn't get past the first level due to not knowing who I was controlling, and I kept walking off the platforms because I thought I was one person, but it had switched to the other. A icon indicating who you are playing as and longer switch times would have almost fixed the game. Good work though!
There was no indication of the change between characters. I couldn't get past the second level. Might be better not to have lives so I wouldn't have to start the game again.
Certainly 'out of control' though
