Cool game! Glad to see someone else made a pogo stick inspired game! My computer had some difficulty running it, but like other people said, not your fault. I really enjoyed bouncing around in your world!
I had to install a few dependencies because this was built in unreal engine. But it was a cool concept. My system also lagged a lot while playing this game so I couldn't enjoy it just as much. However, that isn't your fault, it's my system's old graphics card fault. Anyways nice job on making this game!
It seems like a really cool idea and a very fun game... sadly i didn't play it more than a minute because my computer is made of cardboard boxes and toilet paper and can't handle high-intensity graphics games... (Game Devs, add quality settings in your high-performance games, especially if you konw you will make one, this is REALLY important and don't take usually more than 10 minutes, i can't stress that enough)
I would love to see you expand upon this idea, I would gladly hop around the world with that pogo bounce.
I wish there had been SFX for the pogo stick, considering they have such an iconic sound.
But considering the time constraint, you did a great job!
Thanks for the feedback! The pogo stick actually had sfx, but it was removed when I packaged the game for some reason.
Nice, simple, satisfying. Good work!
A simple mechanic requires heavy level design to make it shine. Very similar feel to Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, but with more control and less frustration. This is probably because of the lack of vertical in level design, but as this is just a showcase, and I think there's enough to have players wanting for more to explore. Simple, fun, and chill.
Good concept! But I don't think the game worked very well on my machine. It was slow and really dark. I loved the ending though!
Wow, this was really great!! Very much in the spirit of Getting Over It, but with a more relaxed, meditative quality. Plus the ending made me laugh out loud. Honestly, I wish there was more too it! The worst part about this game is how short it is :)
Amazing ending. I will always remember you, pogo stick!
I liked how the jumps seemed to gain momentum and get larger and larger the more successful hops you had. Could do some fun stuff with that!
<3 Thanks for the feedback! The hardest part of development was definitely figuring out what obstacles to design around the pogo's moveset.
