I've seen quite a few games with a similar mechanic to this, but in my opinion this is the most well-executed version I've seen. Really good job!

Really loved this entry, the genius part is that it turns your whole keyboard into the controller. Awesome work!

This was really gud! Happy I played it :P

Yea, this was a good variant on the "screwed up controls" theme. It doesn't feel random or unfair because you get to choose which key you get. Actually made it fun. It could be more clear that you need to touch the enemies to kill them, but all and all, this is the best game like this I've played. Good job.

This is a really good execution of a game mechanic I've seen a couple of games attempt during this jam! Having the keys on the keyboard indicate your health is a really unique and interesting idea and lead to many frantic situations. Really good job!

Liked the idea a lot, and by letting the player choose the new keys, interesting things happen

Super fun idea! Loved getting my fingers all twisted around the keyboard!

Awesome!

I was toying around with a random keyboard mapping for each playthrough, but felt that that wouldve been just frustrating. You solved that by letting the player choose the new mapping. Quite a clever little game, good job!

(were you inspired by DownWell for the colors? The game looks quite nice, aswell :) )

Thanks! We aimed for a minimalist visual style, therefore Downwell was a great inspiration.

Wow- I loved this idea, and the execution was excellent. I quickly had to contort my fingers. Excellent use of the whole keyboard- there are a lot of these "loss of control" games in this jam but this remap mechanic is great. Nice clean visuals too. Well done.

Great entry! Very impressive visuals and a great execution of your idea! I especially love the looks of the keyboard. I few years back I created a game on a local jam with a key disableing mechanic that i had to show on screen as well, so its very neat to see similar ideas with very different aproaches. Two Thumps up from me! 👍🏼👍🏼

Awesome game! Great idea and great sound design. The level design reminds me of old arcade games like Bosconian and RallyX. It's also one of the best interpretations of the theme that I've seen.

very unique idea! i'lll hafta admit it gets frustrating when after rebinding a key and then shortly get hit with another bullet while you're trying to get accustomed to the new scheme as it just throws everything  out of the window. but i got a good chuckle out of the panic!

overall despite the frustration, i really like the idea of this game and how its implemented!

max i could get is a score of 10

Nice gameplay, clean visuals (big downwell vibes), juicy effects, creative interpretation of the theme, and the piano part of the music SLAPS

The fact that upgrades consume a key as well was a genius design decision.

This one has potential to be one of the winners, ngl
