We made a stealth game with a sneeze mechanic that triggers at random. Players have a limited amount of actions to hold the sneeze, but this will result in a more powerfull sneeze.

First of all this game looks fantastic, the polish on this really adds to the experience, kudos :) The take on the theme is really cool too and and makes for some engaging gameplay. Personally, I think it could have been a little more challenging but difficulty is subjective and hard to nail in a jam! If you continue with this after the jam (which you definitely should) it'd be awesome to see you ramp up the challenge!

Thanks kind sir! We definitly will ramp up the difficulty! We still have some unused concepts we can put in the game! :D We also have an updated build ready where we removed the bugs that are in the current build:) We will bring new builds often (I hope)

This is really good! I love stealth games and I really love the uncontrollable mechanic, but adding a way to delay that mechanic or turn it into a powerful tool (the power sneeze mechanic). Great art, controls and music :)

That was incredibly polished! Really liked the premise and it felt like a complete game. The animations were really nice as were the sounds and general ambiance. I liked being able to break through glass with the sneeze, super creative! Music changing while you're caught is also excellent. You can tell that you guys have a lot of experience with this, great job! 😀

Super cute game! Although why did you have to choose right now to make a game about sneezing on everything??? The one thing that was confusing to me was what is actually required to pick up the items; is it sneezing on them or just standing by them? Anyway, I really like the silly, original concept you guys had and this is very well executed as well, from the mechanics to the aesthetics.
True lol :D Sander had a random sneeze during our brainstorm. So we where like you can't control a sneeze, let's do that :D You just have to stand in the circle near the object you wanna steal. But at the moment the pickup is sometimes bugged sadly. But we have a new build ready where it's fixed:) Thanks a lot for playing :)
Wow, I'm so sorry to hear that you had such a bug, but I believe the game is still fire! Just by adding a proper ambience/different music for a game, and the game will feel as a finished game.
Everything is intuitive, and the tutorial is so well done (since it's not just the big screen at the beginning, but the actual in-game tutorial. The art is very nice, attractive and pleasing, but most importantly, it established a right mood for a game about heist! It's impressive for a game jam in 48 hours. All animations are so clean, I don't get it how could someone do that in 48 hours.
I would love to play a full-version of this game, to be honest, it's good. I'm satisfied from playing the game :D

The art and character designs are really really nice. I love them.
unfortunately i had the bug where i couldn't pass the room with the penguin and the getting caught did nothing. I restarted the game a few times but it was the same each time. If you are a potential player reading this comment then do not let the bug put you off trying it, it's 100% worth your time to try this game out even if you do encounter the bug.
I see the potential and what you were going for. I think the gameplay idea is very unique and has potential for a lot of fun level ideas.
My only critique which isn't bug related is that i don't think it's very clear to the player that the sneeze knockback can break you through glass at first. I see how you tried to teach the player by forcing them to get through a glass door in the first room to progress, but it's very easy to miss the fact that you smashed through that first door as you are probably focusing on figuring out how to pick up the first vase.
Overall, it's a very nice game with a lot of potential, and i absolutely love the protagonist's design and walk animation.

Thanks for this comment. The bug has been fixed in our most recent build, so as soon as the jam is over we update it so that players don't have to encounter the bug. Also 1 tutorial level about breaking glass slipped through our fingers, between the 1st and 2nd level was supose to be another level where players where forced to knock into a pedestal with glass. That way players would notice how this system would work. We've also worked on more player help, like resets in each level, a way to get back to the main menu, etc.
Really fun and cute game with super nice graphics well done :D

The idea of making the thief allergic and sneezy is not only a fun game concept but also very relatable! There were so many times in rhythm games when I had a full combo run but then I just sneeze and lose immediately :D
All the art is very clean, AND WAS ALL MADE DURING THE JAM?! NICE!!!
The sound design is very good and I like that when you do a loud sneeze the entire screen shakes and the sound is louder and more chaotic!

Thanks you! We fixed the bug so as soon as the jam ends we update the build to get rid of of!:D Jonathan didn't take his allergy pills for the sole purpose of recording sneezes😂

Very good presentation too, the environment and the characters are looking nice and polished.
The design was a bit too limited for me. Stealing an object was not particularly challenging, and the idea with using the sneeze to break things (at the risk of a louder sneeze) is cool, but I couldn't steal the object afterward (just a bug I assume), and it's quite easy to escape the guard anyway, so it still lack something to have an interesting experience in my opinion. It was very pleasant to play anyway, so good job !
Thanks for this comment! We are gonna make more levels and stuff after the jam is over. There is indeed a bug that happend there, our programmer found out the problem today. When we continu working on it we make sure the game gets harder. We still have a couple of things which we can do with the mechanic:)
