Really cool level design. I do wish that the gravity switch button remained in the same place each time it was activated, but regardless a really fun game! Good job.

Developer

Noted, a lot of our friends said the same. We're likely going to patch the game post jam so we'll keep this in mind!

Neat take on the theme and some interesting puzzles

Cool Idea. Had fun! :)

This is nice! A couple things though,

  1.  I wish that the gravity button (that I push with my mouse) would always be in the same spot, maybe add a panel on the side where all of the interactable UI goes or something like that
  2.  The text that explains the mechanics is way too small, maybe overlay something over the whole screen, instead of just a tiny little box that I can't read

Besides that, great game! Here's mine https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/697413 feel free to check it out :)

Really polished, love the level design, has you think a bit during each level. Tons of mechanics too!

Very cool game. The levels are pretty great too as well the animations. If you want you can transform this into a full game, you are really good at level design too. Only one little thing I think that could be improved in the future is put the gravity button (the big yellow one, not the platform to activate it) always in the same place. Congratulations!

Nice game, I got stuck when the turret was introduced I could rotate it but it wouldn't shoot.

This is a solid design. I would like to see it as a full, developed game. The music was so good

This is a solid execution of this concept! I initially thought the gravity button felt more complex than the previous objects you could manipulate, so I would have thought it felt unbalanced, but then the turret was a pleasant surprise after that and made the game feel a lot more like you were playing with different objects equally! I had trouble seeing you could toggle walls off AND on at first since the effect is pretty subtle, so some clarification there would have helped me early on! Great job!

Nice difficulty curve.

Wow, pretty great work! The music choice is nice, although I think it's a bit too chiptune-y. Also, would've been great if you added something that took the control even more from the player.

I would've loved bigger levels from the start, and I think this would do better as a desktop/stand-alone game with bigger and more detailed textures. I loved the character, and I feel like some more characters, objects and animations along with minor details would be a great addition to this game. Anyway, good stuff, a lot of effort put into it!

I'm flattered by your confidence in our concept! We're already likely going to add more levels post-jam and it's nice to see people interested in a more fleshed out game, but I personally won't promise much more past more levels. We might flesh it out more, but we're not sure. Regardless, I'll take your feedback into consideration if we end up doing more with this. Thank you!

Alright, happy to provide feedback! It is slightly disappointing that you probably won't continue to work on the mechanics/details, but it's completely understandable. You probably didn't expect to work on the title after the Jam, and wrote some chaotic/unorganized code that's a mess and difficult to understand, because well, it was just for this 48-hour interval, and now frankly rewriting the code would be too big of an investment of your time. I really recommend planning ahead next time (if there will be one), because this is what a lot of rough indie games with potential become. Thanks for the response and good luck!

Love the idea and the robot is adorable!

Nice game! The levels are well designed in using and twisting with established mechanisms.

Thank you!

Nice puzzles, wish there were more levels.

Developer

Thank you, we feel the same way! We spent a lot of time working on cool mechanics to implement bit didn't dedicate a lot of time to making levels sadly. If we had a few more hours our levels and structure likely would have been a lot better, and we're likely going to update this after the jam with more levels to make it feel more complete.

Cool game, love the audio and art style :D

Very Nice Game. I think I made my concepts of machine learning clear XD. The level design was very innovative. The music was also very nice. Great Job :)
