I love the H.O.A. This game was very fun and I loved the art.

The mechanic is really fun and creative, but I had trouble descaling the bottom half of the fish as there wasn't enough space on the screen to move the knife down there. Also, I couldn't really tell if I was doing well or not as the score was so small down there.

Nice game.

I wasn't able to find the pond, so I couldn't try the fishing mechanics. I think having a smaller map so it is more obvious where the activities are could benefit your game a lot.

Excellent start. The soundtrack was a bit annoying after a while, but your artwork was very fun.

I programmed everything in Lua and the assets were made in Photoshop.

I was mostly thinking about players who download it and play later without the game page open. It is a very fun concept that I would love to see as a full-length game.

It ended up more like a digital toy than a game. I definitely want to add some point system and replayability.

Very fun game. I think a simple sentence describing the mechanics in the game would be nice, it wasn't clear at first how to get past the wall.

Interesting concept. I feel like it was missing some meat. More mechanics or a story might be nice.

I definitely plan to push the concept further in a more stable, desktop environment. Browsers are great for jams, but not so great for serious number-crunching.

Thanks. I remembered driving through the aftermath of the fires in Bastrop and out of control did come to mind back then. I figured it was a good way to combine my experience working for the Texas Forest Service and developing software.

The scale was a big design choice we made early on. I wanted it to feel like a lot of work to stop the fires.

I'm glad you liked it. I couldn't get the frames to load fast enough for smooth panning within the time constraints, but I think some optimization and code rework could fix some of the clunk factor.

The color palette was pleasant and the game mechanics was very interesting!

I loved the art around the computer. So cute! The pop-up messages were very clever.

The audio was pretty glitchy. I imagine it was due to my browser, so no hard feelings there. As others have said, performance was pretty rough, but I absolutely loved the art. Very good work!

For my game Ride Share, I wanted to make all of the maps using svg in HTML to make them procedural, but I didn't have time, so I exported them as a png and used mspaint to find the pixel locations and loaded those into my .js. It would have wasted a lot of time to make each level that way, but luckily that was not an issue... Play my game to find out why lol

Now to start knocking out the games on this list...

Due to my experience making games, I really wanted push myself to pump out a lot of levels and create more mechanics for the game like one-way streets and construction areas, but I figured tuning the main driving mechanic was a better use of time. In my experience, a game with one solid mechanic is better than a game with a bunch of half-baked mechanics.

After the struggle of the first level, I took one look at that laser and closed out. I enjoyed playing the game very much. Good job!

I was looking through the Android entries and this one caught my eye. I love the small details like the red cursor when the rotation is almost over and the snapping. It was definitely difficult, but rewarding to master.
