I did not understand how this game relates to the 'out of control' theme beyond a typical game of this genre with enemies that behave on their own. Levels were well made!

The puzzles are good and the setting is neat

good length of levels!

Really good game!! Well done!

A nice puzzle game, i especially liked the little narrative add, every time you finish a level. I always like to see how people experiment with Sokoban mechanics, and the idea of the pickaxe works a lot for creating refreshing puzzle. The ambiance of the game feels nice too

It is a nice puzzle game. I like that you need to use the item in the right order and that you can change the level layout using the pickaxe. I am not sure how well it fits with the theme, but you did a good job with the game.

I liked the game, but I don't feel like it meets the jam theme.

Second that

The game is really fun and got me into this "just one more level" mood. Maybe its link to the theme is a bit light though.

I really don't see how this game is on topic with this jam I feel like the idea was already around before the jam started.

But I really like the retro feel I have playing this game, greate job :)

Agree, and it even feels like a rip off of one of the Highlighted games on past year's GMTKJam: https://radcodex.itch.io/castle-demonstone

The embedded game didn't work properly for me - space scrolled the page down, which was quite awkward. The downloaded version worked fine, though. The game didn't feel particularly inspired, but the presentation was neat and the game worked fine. I only wish either the player moved faster or there was a sprint button - it took too long to move around. Also, being able to turn off the audio - it was too loud for me, and there was no volume slider, sadly. Still, well done!

Sorry for the disturbing gameplay experience, I'll improve the details next week.

Cool game! Didn't really get the out of control vibe but nice RPG

realy cool nostalgic feel to the game,i do agree its not fitting to the theme that much

but good work!

Made by RPGMaker??? That’s impressive!

Good game, great level design. Quite reminiscent of DROD (but easier and simpler). I wish you could move a little faster. It's frustrating experimenting with the mechanics when the game can't keep up with my inputs. I actually stopped playing because of that! If it had a faster move mode, maybe I'd have persevered.

I played quite a few levels. I wasn't stuck or bored of them by the time I decided to move on. I was just frustrated that it wasn't being respectful of my time.

It's beautifully polished for a games jam effort. I don't really see how it fits the theme, and I don't think I'd call it pretty as such. But it is very high quality.

Thanks for letting me know that, I'll fix it next week!

Great game!

Just make the theme the forefront next time.

Its a fun game but I feel like it could have explored the theme a bit more. However, I really liked the feeling of trespassing which was explored here, the game has a good atmosphere. :)

Cool game, good level design, but the game didn't really fit the theme. Also, a tutorial would be great. Overall,  it was a nice experience.

The stairs move down. Does this mean we're moving down the "tower?" I'm also not too sure how this fits the theme. Aside from that it has moderate level design.

Great game, some levels are a bit tricky but so much fun. Took a while to go through all levels. Really recommend!

The puzzle aspect is really good, however I don't see a connection to the theme. Also would be nice if you could move quicker.
