I really enjoyed this! The voice acting was excellent, and the concept seemed cool, although it took me a bit to figure out the battle system. My biggest complaint was that I couldn't figure out an obvious way to reset the level after dying, but maybe I just missed it.

There should be a button to restart the level at the bottom of the screen, but we might not have made the UI scale properly for all screen sizes so it could have been left outside the screen. Thanks for playing though!

I didn't mind getting hit because I enjoyed the sound effects haha. I liked the concept, some of the art felt unbalanced in terms of consistency. The title screen felt nostalgic and was a great set up for what I was to expect for the rest of the experience. Great job!
