I think this could be a great game. The idea of enemy hordes and the "stay as long you can" is always fun, but the inverted controls are a poor choice for a theme like this. With a little more of thinking, this could be something really interesting!

The game is interesting although I didn't find any need to play with more than just the forward key.

Interesting game! The shooting needs more tweaking as it is just not that fun to use, but the movement isn't that bad honestly. Neat stuff!

This was really cool, but I did get stuck with the puzzle about moving blocks. The rest of the "tutorial" sections I played through were perfect, but that one isn't one that I got sadly

I really like the play on words in the title, that's a really clever touch!

It's tricky trying to re-wire your brain to the controls, and it's just difficult enough to really throw you for a loop at first, but I got a slightly higher score each time I played.

Obviously, there's not a whole lot of depth to the game, and the pre-made assets don't mesh perfectly, but all in all it fits good enough for a jam game.

Also, I figured out that if you stand on the ramp you can position yourself in such a way that the monsters won't make contact with you, so you won't take damage and can just shoot them as much as you want. I don't know if that exploit was intended, but it was a fun little discovery! lol

Developer

Glad you noticed the word play! And the exploit was intended, happy you exploited it!

Bold to subvert the controls.

Honestly though, I think it was a poor choice. Not being able to control a game is more frustrating than fun.

Your visuals are smooth, and I like your monsters!

Developer

Yeah I thought it’s a risky thing, but thanks for the feedback!

Interesting, I was able to stay alive decently long by not moving at all and just shooting from the camera and causing lots of explosions.

We messed with controls as well, but only in shorts bursts of time so that it wasn't too disorienting.

Developer

Yeah, this was my first jam, didn’t really think it through enough

The controls are 100% out of control but they were difficult to use for sure.

Honestly the controls just came off as annoying,

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I probably should’ve only changed some controls, not all of them
