Very fun game congrats!

It is infuriating when a window drops on top of your current one lol it really makes me quit my job in game.

Developer

Thank you! I certainly know the feeling lmao

I really enjoyed the small touches like the keyboard sounds and the different mouse click. It made me feel like it was mid 2000s again. One thing that kind of frustrated me was that the window layout was so realistic that I expected windows to jump forward when I clicked them. Also, after a certain amount of time, I was unable to incinerate anything. Is that normal?

Developer

Sorry for the late reply! Yeah I think everyone had that problem, hoping it's something I can fix moving forward haha

Thanks! It's nice to see that it's been resonating with people :)

I very much enjoyed this game - both thematically and gameplay-wise. It was easy to feel overwhelmed, but not in an unfair way - it always felt as though I could make it by trying a little harder. The aesthetic and design are great, the gameplay is fun and makes you juggle a lot (prioritizing, reading, executing each task, etc.), though I did laugh at how the signature boxes quickly became a relief and insta-click despite their "dire consequences". Very fun take on the theme - both out of control as a game and a character who is out of control of their life!

Developer

Thanks so much for the comment! I'm glad the difficulty was balanced enough, moving forward I'm gonna continue to tweak the spawn rate and hopefully make some more interesting tasks

I laughed. And it was fun to test my typing speed on some of the boxes, and it was very stressful when the one I was working in would get covered by something else.

Glad the typing worked out! Getting it to function properly was definitely one of the more difficult parts of production

Really well put together. And pretty funny.

Developer

Much appreciated! I think writing it was one of the more fun parts of development

Developer

Many thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

I enjoyed the game! I think with more variety to add difficulty this could have been a full-on game! I really loved the typing/clicking noises that you added, it's a great touch.

Developer

Thanks so much! I'm definitely looking into expanding this at some point
