Really clever idea. Points for originality :D

How does your game fit the theme?
In our game, you play as a controller (a DPad, to be specific). It's bullet hell/rogue like, in which the location you take damage impacts which controls are available to you. Lose all four cardinal directions, and you're out of luck. (Look for those A and B button power ups, though. You can use them with LMB and RMB.) Additionally, the enemies you fight fit the theme of "controllers", especially the boss at the end!

I think it could be better if you give player more red power-ups even with less bullets to shoot by using them. That could make it more engaging.
Love the way enemy's health is shown and it's a really fun game. Well done :)
Great game!
The feeling is awesome. You can predict what will happen using sound. Good job!
I would prefer to use the habilities buttons with the keyboard and walk with arrows, but this is a small point.
Hey, it looks pretty fun ! However it is wasd, so i can't really play it sadly. With the graphics and all i thought I could play with the gamepad, but it didn't work ? Good concept, quite punitive :)
Not what I imagine by the name. but I think it fits the theme brilliantly. I liked all the small UI elements like the enemies being drained by a time limit and that being shown to the player for them to know how long they have to live.
Had a lot of fun playing your game. Great concept with the controls as your health/inputs. The aesthetic is really nice. Good varieties of enemies and love the way you deal with the screen wrap, definitely help when thing get hectic as the game go on. The boss fight was a good addition, but I wish the boss would get introduce a bit sooner, or have an indicator for game progression.
Overall, I really like the game you made here. Good job!
Really fantastic idea of having your controls pretty much be your health. I especially loved how you worked around the issue of the player getting stuck in a corner, by having both sides of the screen wrap around on themselves. Really clever, great entry!
I really like the idea of this game. I thought it was enjoyable to try and map out a safe path in order to recover any lost directions.
This is a really fun game ! It suits very well the theme ^^
It's just a bit too chaotic at times (especially after losing a few directions ^^'), but that's alright (:
Great submission ! :D
The game is fun to play, but loosing the movement keys makes it almost imposible to come back from
The game was really fun to play. Sometimes it was maybe too hard, especially when there was too many enemies, there was no possibility to dodge them and on top of that you lost some of your controls.
Really fun game, you really went overboard on the theme "out of control" which I loved! Dodging enemy attacks was fun and there was enough enemy types to keep the game interesting for quite a while. The added layer of strategy when you lost the buttons to your controller felt like a core part of the game rather than just an after thought and it was fun seeing what you could do with your limited options. Overall the game was really enjoyable and there's honestly not much I can fault you on, maybe the player sprite could have been improved a bit as it wasn't quite as high quality as the enemies but that's really all I can think of. Overall, it was an amazing game and I hope you keep developing it some more, great job!
Hey that was pretty fun! You didnt just fit the theme to fit the theme, that really served gameplay and felt pretty fun. I loved the art, especially for the joystick boss, and giving the player the ability to wrap around the screen is a nice way to not make the game completely unplayable when you're almost out of keys. There was some real juice going on here, maybe the music could have fit that a bit better. The UI could have used a little work, but it's understandable that you were short on time. Nice submission!
glad you enjoyed the boss, we spent a ton of time on it! and yeah, the music was all stuff I had previously composed not related to this game specifically, so i understand that. and for sure the UI, we're definitely gonna make everything clearer as we continue on this. thanks so much for playing and the feedback!
The concept is really good and fit perfectly the theme (at least the puns way). The execution of it is well thought out with the border of the screen being like pacman. Only thing was that it wasn't clear that you could collect A and B button as power ups. Only grasp on my third try.
The presentation is the weak point, but it's doing it job. Music fit and sfx are at the right place. Didn't encounter any bug. Overall, a nice game that fit the theme like a charm :)
Quite like the visual style, solid presentation, and a good core mechanic, the wrapping screen helps a lot to alieviate issues that many "lose input as you go" games have struggled with this jam. The only things I'd mainly say are one, the powerups spawn far too infrequently, and two, I feel like there need's to be something more going on, the pace feels to slow to be a survival-styled bullet hell, and yet other than the powerups the player has no meaningfull interaction with the enemies who just sort of wander about themselves. Perhaps a mechanic to lure enemies into damaging each other, would add some risk/reward gameplay to it while keeping the slower more strategic pace. Overall, quite a solid entry and there's definitely a lot of places you could take this project!
thanks for playing! i completely agree with the powerup critique, that's probably the most common one we've heard and is definitely something we'll be fixing. i also think you have a good point with the pacing, we have a lot more ideas for enemies and new powerups to spice things up that we just didn't get to in the jam. thanks so much for your feedback! glad you enjoyed :)
The core mechanics is great! And the theme about lack of control used well!
