How does your game fit the theme?
In our game, you play as a controller (a DPad, to be specific). It's bullet hell/rogue like, in which the location you take damage impacts which controls are available to you. Lose all four cardinal directions, and you're out of luck. (Look for those A and B button power ups, though. You can use them with LMB and RMB.) Additionally, the enemies you fight fit the theme of "controllers", especially the boss at the end!

This game does so many things right! The core mechanic is extremely creative and enjoyable, the game-play is fantastic, and the art is amazing! There's some small tweaks that could be made to make the game more enjoyable (like some way to regenerate your lost "parts") but overall it is a fantastic experience.
for healing, there should have been drops spawning every ~15 seconds, some looking like little gray bars outlined in white, others looking like red/blue circles outlined in white. those were healing items to give you directions/buttons back. not sure we made it clear anywhere those were to help the player though, lol. anyway, thanks for playing and the comment!
Overall enjoyable, but as several others have pointed out, there is a slippery slope where the game gets far more difficult to play as you lose directional inputs. I never got to try the power-ups because of how infrequently they spawned, which was a shame. Cute sprites and nice presentation overall, well done!
thanks for playing! we're working on making the game more forgiving by spawning more powerups/healing items, and having the drop rate be a function of the player's health. glad you enjoyed :)
I like the playable character and the whole look of the game and how it plays - it's still got a little bit of the 'lose a move and you're done' syndrome, but not too much due to the wrapping screen, which's great. It's a really fun one, love the little potion dudes.
thanks so much! glad you enjoyed playing!
You put so many small details into this! I love how the health/lifetime of enemies is conveyed through their red innards and you telegraph attacks amazingly. Incredibly polished and great visuals! My one complaint is once you get down to only having 2 directions you get kinda screwed but other than that this game was amazing!!!
thanks so much! yeah, we're working on making powerup spawns more helpful to save the player from getting stuck. currently, the powerups spawn in-line with the player to help them if they can only move in one direction, they will always be a key you need, are more likely to be a key instead of a button the less keys you have, and will always be a key for an axis you don't have (so if you can only move left to right, it will give you up or down key), but we'll also probably make it so they spawn more frequently the less keys you have (and in general).
Very pretty visuals! Awesome job!
thanks so much! happy you liked
This was a lot of fun, love the idea of losing controls when getting hit. Makes you be a lot more careful!
thank you for playing/streaming, i appreciate it! glad you liked the game :)
The idea was really nice, but really tricky to balance/develop . Anyway, nice job!
thanks so much!
Feels great to play and has a clean presentation! I wonder if there's ways to make taking damage less limiting though. Losing an entire direction is quite a blow. Maybe 8 directions? Would like to see this idea more fleshed out.
Also we had similar ideas! In mine you always have two options for each action though.
Overall great work!
thanks so much! and yeah, managing difficulty was a bit challenging. we didn't mention this anywhere, but the screen does wrap around (so you don't get stuck once you've lost a key).
LOL. Our games ideas are similar. I don't have a PC though. Would like to play on Mac!
haha yeah, one of the guys from my team sent me a vid of yours. very cool! we'll do a mac/linux/web gl uploads once the jam ends, i just forgot to in the rush to get everything finished.
